15 years and a few days ago, Chris Sawyer released what would turn out to be a very popular simulation game series. Roller Coaster Tycoon was the beginning, released on March 31, 1999. Since then, there have been expansion packs and sequels along with their expansion packs. Although the series has been in decline for years, RCT4 is now in development.
I will also say that I have plenty of childhood and teenage memories from the series. In addition, I'd say these games also led me to be interested in roller coasters and theme parks. I don't know what else to say, but happy 15th anniversary RCT!
