I love this game! I play it for years and I always found new way to improve it.



It takes me a long time to learn that we can level roads without level up the landscape like crazy! I wonder if I can do the same thing with the buildings.



Example, when I do a rollercoaster on a mountain and I want to build a toilet, I had to level up a scare to the road height and that cost a lot of money (plus sometimes, it’s ugly!).



Another example, the Corkscrew Follies’s Barony Bridge scenario, where the landscape is protected from edit, so you can’t level up scare, plus all the official buildings like toilets are stuck at the entrance park level, which is a pain when you build rollercoaster far from the bridge at sea level.

Someone can tell me if we can build buildings in height without level up squares?

If I understand you, you want to Build toilet(or any other shop) on fixed position. Somthing like that:


You just have to hold LEFT SHIFT and move mouse up and down.

Yes, that what I want to do, I still can't do it.

When I move my mouse, the toilet go to another scare even if I hold left or right shift. If I click, it builds the toilet the wrong level.

Maybe there is a step I don't do. Can you give more informations?

What I do:
- I click to buy a toilet
- I put the cursor beside the leveled road I want where I want to build the toilet
- Hold left shift and do stuffs with the cursors, but it doesn't work

Internet says that CTRL key may work. Or use combination CTRL+SHIFT. But I'm not very sure if that works.



Or read manual!!

I probably have the manual somewhere in the closet, but not anywhere near.
I try everything, but it doesn't work.

I can only build on level ground, this is my problem. I have to level the ground everytime I want to build something higher.

You can only do that with RCT2.

Really, you can't do it with RollerCoaster Tycoon's Corkscrew Follies/Loopy Landscapes? Oh no. Well, this will not makes me hate the game, but I though there was a way.

by the way, when you've asking, you haven't mentioned that It was RCT1

But WE ARE in the RCT 1 CORNER !?
And I talk about the Corkscrew Follies expansion in the first post...

That's ok, I mean if we can't do it in the first one, nobody can't change about it and this is not the end of the world... Still thanks for responding guys.
