Anyway, I've done some reworking of my main entrance. In regards to the restaurant, I just did a tiny bit of tinkering, adding some sunroofs, and adding an overhang over the entrance to the restaurant (something specifically suggested by someone to me). I want to keep the area decorated but still have lots of space for peeps to walk around (some say that's great, others say it's a bad idea). I've just added some flowers and foliage of sorts.
The gift shop has been moved and redone. Now, on the mainfloor is the shop, with 4 or 5 stalls in it, and on the 2nd floor is the monorail station.
Proceeding up the main entrance you'll find an observation deck in a not-entirely enclosed island. I think it looks nice.

Still some tinkering to do to enhance the appearance of the area but it's finally taking a more certain shape.

The restaurant entrance has much more depth now (btw, you missed a window to the left of the entrance)
The store looks good too, I like how you indented the roof, the observation post looks nice also.

Doing more work on the entrance area of the park, I changed the colours of the glass roofs and sunroofs throughout the restaurant. It's not a major change, but I think it makes a big difference in its appearance - and for the better. And no need to point it out, looking at the screenshot, I realized I missed a piece.
In the same screenshot, you'll see a new attraction I added, a 3D theatre. I opted to use an all-glass dark-tinted roof that reminds me of a neat pavilion I went to as part of Expo 86 in Vancouver, BC. There is a method behind my madness...
Also, I got really tired of working on the same area, trying to make it the best it can be, so I took a break after adding the theatre attraction, and decided to work on my first coaster. It is a kid's wooden coaster in the corner of my Ice Age Chill Zone kid's section of the park. In the screenshot you will see the stats of the ride. From the day I made the landscape, I envisioned having a coaster run just above the water and take advantage of the little island... although I originally thought I'd use a bobsled coaster there instead of a wooden one. I am anticipating this ride to be a popular one, hence a long queue line.
At this time, all the rides/attractions in my park do not have names yet.

I think you should remove some of those trees because in the ice age there couldn't be much living really.
Yeah, I suppose to be technical, you're right. I might cut down on some of the trees, I'll see how the whole area looks as I get closer to finishing the section.

First of all, the queing line is too long, it would look fine if it just came straight out of the tunnel and to the path, you don't need all the winding around for a little theater.
The exit doesn't work, it's distance from the cinema building, makes it read as something else. move it into the main building, you could try merging them together, keeping the designs intact, yet making them read as one.
One last note on the theater, is that uncut grass I see inside? remember that grass never works inside a building.
