I have two complaints:

1. The rides don't really seem to "Disney" (Cough Splash Mountian Cough). I know it's Canadian themed, but really, you've got to have more simialarity. Main Street's an exception though.

2. The rides seem very secluded. If you look at the overveiws it's just a bunch of architecture and then every few centimeters (I mean on my computer screen, not how it would be in real life) a ride pops up. That is very annoying for park guests because they have to walk a while to each ride. In regular Disney parks the rides with similear themes are in clusters, making it easier to ride more rides.

Extremely good points. I appreciate the advice. I haven't really concentrated on the rides yet, so your comments were well timed. It's true this is somewhat "Canadiana", but not the whole park. I'll post some pics (after I've finished Fantasyland) of new ride attempts. Any feedback is appreciated.

Well, the path in the "Park Info." screen looks really out-of-place. I have seen paths like that with much better quality before. Also, the chairs in the third-to-last screen are pretty poor. Some of the plants and trees you use are not the best either. Then there are a few objects that, like Mama Bear said, are not the greatest ones in my opinion. The work is great, but some of the objects, not so much.

I don't mean to offend anyone who made those objects, so sorry if I do. :(

EDIT: Oh, and that popcorn stand in the "Baghdad Cafe" pic is from Zoo Tycoon, right? It was meant for that game...

Thanks for being specific. I'll take a look. At this point in this game I probably won't change too much, but I'll take a closer look for my next creation. I haven't made any paths yet, but that's my next project. As for the popcorn stand... man I just love that object :).

This is going to sound dumb, but isn't Splash Mt a Disney ride, or am I mixing it up with something? (Not being sarcastic)

Thanks man. I'm just about done Fantasyland and have decided to add Fort Andrew or HudsonBayland, or some such Western Canada themed area. I'll post soon I promise.

Here is a view of Fantasyland without rides or shops. I tried to make the landscaping look more inviting, and appreciate feedback on that. Keep in mind that I've already included (though it's not in the pics) the traditional Fantasyland Rides in Kidsville, and in this area I want to focus on Snow White as well as Sleeping Beauty for rides based on the Over California experience. (Not like I can actually make that, but hey, what you can't see is in my head still) :)

Have fun.

Awesome. You intertwined your plants with your buildings, and so far this section is looking fabulous.
You definitely captured the old quaint village look (I'm assuming) you were going for.

This is looking great, you could easily have a shot at VP with this.

There's a VP Competition every month, so it's not really much of a deadline. After all, the more effort you put into it, and effort and detail usually means more time, it'll make it even better than it is right now.

I'm loving the park so far. The Western Canada area sounds exciting, don't forget the Calgary Stampede! ;)

Or do. It's your park.
...I'll stop typing now. :ermm:
