You're saying you need to essentially hot link your images to show in your posts is what you're trying to do? if that's the case, when you compose a new post or response, you just click the picture icon above these text boxes that's labeled "Image", then it pops up the image properties URL, then you just paste the link to your image in there. I hope this is what you're asking unless I misunderstood you. I've been pasting in images into majority of my threads since being here with no problems. Of course I don't use tinypic though, but postimg since they allow direct linking.

In the post editor - the icon in the center of the second row down that looks like a little polaroid with a greenish image - that is the "image" tool. It allows you to post a link to an image you have on another site, and displays it here.
Try it out...

Sign of an organized mind ^. I forgot about the possibility of it being greyed out.

LOL, ooops, I didn't even notice that switch in the upper left corner myself. I never had that issue so it just never occured to me. I guess I learned something new out of this myself. Thanks rcthelp.

Thank you for the replies guys, but the problem is, I paste both image URLs and whole posts from other forums...
Never seen a board where you couldn't paste, that's going to grind things down substantially, any chance you could just acquire the paste function?
Thx

We have a paste function. I just posted this using it. I copied from elsewhere (CTRL C) and placed my cursor here and pasted (CTRL V). I am not understanding why you can't paste...
Could you describe the process you are using?

Plain ol right click, "copy" and then "paste"... works at every other forum...
Thx

I dunno. That's what I do. ...at least for text and links (below). Images must use the tool in the post editor or the attach files (in the advanced options). The attach files has an option to place in your post. Like Monk below the link. But the right click "paste" works there as well.
