Hi all
I recently bought this game (disc) and i made a scenario via the scenario editor, it all saved fine but when i went to play the scenario an error message comes up saying : Exception Raised - Access Violation
Error Location - Unknown
Im gutted as the editor was the reason i wanted the game - anyone got any ideas as to why its doing this?
Has anyone else had this problem or know of a way to solve it?
Would be much appreciated :)
Thanks

This usually happens when a piece of scenery used in the game is lost, removed, or damaged. The way out is to back up the scenario (in a folder outside the game) and reinstall everything - then copy the scenario back and try again. If you included custom scenery - was any removed from the ObjDat folder? Removing one that was included will give the error. Hopefully you have all the CS backed up. Copy all back from the backup into the ObjDat folder.

If you haven't done this already - always save the park or scenario with a different name after every session (parkname1, parkname2, parkname3, etc...) so you never lose more than one session of work.

Let me know what happens...

another sad fact is that if you turned off your computer even if you saved and you did not turn your computer properly (IE crashing it using the button) the files are automatically rejected for they are seen as the files that lead to the crash of the computer. another trick that works with newly downloaded scenarios is to click on them twice

Freeze at the entrance - as in on the path to the ticket boot entrance - or at the edge of the floating landmass itself?

they freeze at the edge on the end square next to the path- so they cant go onto the path to get to the entrance ..... if that makes sense

Then it means the entry space is set to where the path isn't. One over in fact. Use a trainer (such as 8Cars) to Change Guest Entry Points.
