To be honest, I didn't think that Louis created such a great bench. (still don't) Anyone could of made this one, and I was disappointed after the promise of a fantastic bench for this round. I was skeptical.
As far as 5Dave's entry. It was so well planned, (except for what I thought would be a few ride mistakes,) that I had to congratulate him on his win. I thought the park was imaginative, kept with the theme and had some very well designed attractions. Except that the log flume should of had a second reverser turntable, to rotate the logs back to the forward facing position. But the circular custom station sort of made up for that.
I'm surprised that mazes aren't as popular with park builders as I had hoped. If there's anything that's a popular attraction, that can pretty much be adapted to fit ANY space, it's the maze. And the texture for this one, (wooden) kind of looks like it's made of hay bales. Great idea!
The water tower, and the game stalls below it was a crative burst. I just wish I could of seen inside those game stalls a bit to see what you had going on in there.
Snake Mountain Falls. Well that snake is awsome as heck! I love stuff like that. Anyone who can pull off sculpture with ordinary objects has talent. But I love the attention to detail and how you managed to fill up areas without making the area looked "stuffed to the gills".
The picnic grove was a good down home touch. I remember when my father's company, Reynold's Aluminum, had their company picnics at a small amusement park like this. It made hundreds of memories from my childhood come rushing back. So yeah, that was kinda sweet.
Petting Zoo & animal food dispensers.
Ok, the next comment was not intended as a "bad thing"...
WILL IT EVER STOP?!?
Every time I look around, theres some imaginatively built object. I swear, you can look around this park, and you will find something new, and custom made outta the parts that he was given. A lot of small details really drove this park into a realistic realm. Like the gas station as a parking plaza, the gate at the parking lot, The main gate was done right. Simple, not overdone or "fancy". I like the ladder climb game. Nicely pulled off.
The telephone poles was a great feature. I have the feeling that might catch on with the rest of the community. You just might need to create a tutorial for it 5Dave!
The telephone/power wires suspended over the midway gave me something to figure out. At first I was trying to figure out why the midway was divided up with the fencing. I thought, "This can't be right. Peeps are walking right through... Then revalation.... "OOooooh! That's cool! It's suspended power wires!" Clev-verrrr!
An assortment of nicely constructed and simplistic farm style structures dot the park. Most notable is the covered wagon near Bounty Hunter. If you don't DL this park, you'll regret it. It's fun and worth exploring.

Also thanks for picking my entry... why are there no RUs, though?
@Louis: Thanks. Pity you didn't like it that much. : /
@Jaguarkid: Yeah I must admit that there are some resemblances and I started the park immidiatetly after I judged the park at NE, but it wasn't my intention to copy it whatsoever, I just liked the theme and let my ideas flow into it. Some were already done and some not. But overall I really like how it turned out.
@wolfman: Thanks for your little review, I really appreciate that! The log flume actually has two turnstiles, one inside a little hut next to the cogwheels and one on top of the ride, right before the final drop. The telephone poles are easy to make actually, just a chairlift and some wooden poles/fences... The fences above the paths are ment to be chains of light. You can read some more interesting stuff in the readme if you want. Glad you liked the park, thanks!

why are there no RUs, though?
Ahhh, but there is a Runner-Up.
It was an extremely difficult contest this leg as there were four very good entries. Every one of the entries had many reasons that you should download and view the park. I hope the park makers make their parks available for you all to see - then you can see how difficult this month's contest was to judge.
Be that as it may...
The Runner Up for this fourth leg is The San Francisco Boardwalk by Airtime and Nin.
Be advised the read-me document in the .zip file was saved in a Word 2007 format rather than a more generally compatible format.

I hope the other entrants present their parks for download.
I'd love to see them all. Even ones from previous rounds for 2009.
Which leads us up to the finals. In order of appearance...

Unless I miss my guess,
there is just enough time in 2009 for the Finals Round.
Seeing how there may not be time for a fifth round in the remainder of 2009.
The play-off between the four of us, that determines the Creme Del Le Creme.
Naturally, I'm curious as to when that will be announced,
so that I may clear my calandar of any band rehearsals,
doctor appointments and/or
court summons.
