What micechat (www.micechat.com) is saying is looks like it was given the go ahead to over ride safety protocols. HUMAN ERROR.
Really sad. Hope this doesn't shut down all the monorail's in disney. And I feel bad for the families.

It's pretty shocking of itself. Thank God that only one person was killed. And a few passengers injured. It could of been so much worse. Human Error seems to be a just explanation. Considering all the safeguards built into the system. An over ride of the system seems logical.
But the Monorail trains have had a perfect run up until now. And it's sad to see a perfect record go down the tubes. ESPECIALLY when someone dies because of it. I for one am glad that it wasn't the new trains. That's what I first thought about when I heard the news. I was like... Oh great, the new trains have a glitch. But it happened in Orlando. And those trains are pretty old. But still, It was an over ride condition.
Sad bit of news for sure.
