Some of the images being posted in these forums are too large. They are making it difficult for people who run their PCs at lower resolutions to use the forum buttons as they have to scroll left and right.

Please make sure that all screenshots that you post are no wider than 640 pixels. This is easy to do in RCT1 and RCT2. From the game menus you can briefly change the game resolution, take your screenshot, then change ithe game back to the resolution that you prefer while building/playing.

From now on, the moderators have my permission to edit posts where the screenshots are wider than 640 pixels. They will not delete the images just change them into links instead.

For example:

will be edited by the forum moderators to be:
moderated screenshot here

If you see the text 'moderated screenshot here', you'll know that your images are too wide and have been 'moderated'.

This is not a retrospective thing. Only posts from now on will be edited in this way, not older ones.

This is made irrelevant by v1.2 of the board. Any image that is greater than 640*480 will be 'thumbnailed' by the board. Clicking on the thumbnail will show the image full-size in a separate window.

Unpinning and Closing this topic and letting it sink from view.

Actually, I just spoke rubbish. These rules still apply for linked images. Only uploaded images (on the rare occasions they are allowed), are thumbnailed.

Pinning again. :">
