I can't believe I haven't seen anyone else try to take on the Geo-Sphere of Epcot before!
I managed to develop this in about 24 hours time. Though it was "On & Off" work...
and it took about a week, a few hours a night. I just didn't want to rush it.
Circles are sort of a specialty of mine. So I imagine it was only
a matter of time before I decided to tackle this project.
I wasn't actually t trying to recreate the structure.
The legs alone would give away that notion.

Enjoy!

That actually looks really good. I tried one a long time ago but just didn't have nearly enough patience to stick with it.

Lol, Wolfie! Love those paths!

HELLO? PEOPLE?

HE made a sphere! I don't know about you guys, but... I never even tried to make a "big round thing" in RCT2, let alone one that size... All I can do is freak out... so yeah, great paths! B)

HEHEHEH... I wonder what a certain ape will say to this...

I posted the images at Militia, and strange enough, K0NG has not replied. But I'm not waiting for his
response anyway. Know what I mean?? ;)

The sphere is actually saved as a 1/8th. "crescent". Because there is a limit to the saved scenery that an
attraction can be saved with it. It's like a segment of a beach ball or an orange slice. It IS hollow,
as shown by this image of half-way through construction image below. So something COULD be built inside.

Posted Image

The segment can be Flipped or Mirrored, and Rotated, to build the sphere from eight segments.
In the image below, you can see two segments have been built, while a third is being positioned.

Posted Image

The sphere is a fully enclosed sphere. It's only AFTER the legs are built, does the "skin" get
"holes" in it. I even use the opening in the legs to allow perfect alignment each and every time.
So the legs never come out crooked or misaligned.

Posted Image

The sphere is constructed using only one block type. "Building Block-Quarter" by Toon Towner.
This is the block that has a deeper/richer tone to the colors (if applied.) So it doesn't look like
the colors are pale, or "washed out".

The legs are made by the "Diagonal Building Blocks of RCT Guide". Which I am having a love affair with. :D
In all, only four types of blocks were used.

The legs and the sphere segment are saved separately, as scenery with an Amazing Earl's Doom buggies attraction
used to save the scenery in separately saved attractions.

This is so that the sphere can be RELOCATED, if the park designer wants to move it. Also, with the option of NOT
using the legs, a park designer can create their OWN version if they desire.

Unfortunatly...
The Geo-Sphere will only be released to the advanced club members of the Pirates of RCT Club. But will be included
in the "Epcot Center: Park Series" that the club plans to create in the near future. So if "Disney" is your park to build...
We're taking on each themed land as a dedicated themed bench. With dozens of themed benches, as there are a variety
of Disney Parks. We plan to take our time. Not rushing the project.

If you want to get in on this, then PM me. It's the ONLY way to become a crewmember of Pirates of RCT.
The ONLY requirement is being ACTIVE in RCT 2 and willing to work with a team, like the real IMAGINEERS!

GREAT structure, Wolfie!!!

That must have been some tedious work, and you really accomplished it perferctly I think.
Cannot wait to see the park around it......

(But...eehhh...., if you want to promote your site and getting members for your club on there - with the exclusive sphere ;) , could you please use the affiliates for it!?)

I would, but it's a private club.
You can't just register and
be a part of the forum,
automatically.
You might see it. But you can't register.
Because it's not an "open forum".
That's why potential members
must PM me. For now...
It's the only way.

Besides, I'll be posting more about my parks here.
I'm not just spamming. You'll see.
(insert evil laugh here.)
