Ah, Becky dearie...you once again got the winner's names mixed up and forgot to give the grand prize to moo-wah...

Now, I do understand how someone of your advanced years may have either mis-placed my entry (like last year...) or may have mis-placed your glasses (as I suspect happened THIS year), but really...I didn't know 'Buckeye" meant half blind!

I mean - just look at my entry! Need I say more? Fine, but I'm going to anyways...

I'm just going to bow out of this gracefully as I'm the bigger woman here (alright - who snickered?), and in the spirit of the season and all that crud. But mark my word... when I enter this same park again NEXT year and it doesn't take home the big prize I'm going to know there's something fishy going on. I have my suspicions you know, and I hope I'm wrong - you know jealousy is such a green-eyed monster...and let me tell ya sister, green ain't your color!

And who voted for the drunk woman???

Margo's been running around muttering about having a 'secret admirer' for days now and completely ignoring my corns!

Tootles kid's!

I had a feeling when I first opened park #4 (Happy Home) that I was looking at the eventual winner; it was such a well-constructed holiday postcard and must have taken a tremendous amount of time to perfect - a well-deserved win for Emergo. Also congrats to the other top finishers: ][ntamin22, Kumba & Ride-Exchanger and a thumbs up to all those who participated.

Well, 4th is not bad. And I think I would have to agree with the final order of parks. Emergo, your creativity continues to impress me, congrats on the win. Congrats to the others who placed, the others who entered, and most important to Becky, it was a fun contest. :D

oooh, a 2nd place finish! shiny.
If I were judging it'd be all about who got 2-4, since 1st was pretty obvious here, i thought. It just gives ya the warm fuzzies. I have no problem whatsoever taking second to warm fuzzies. =]
I very much enjoyed both the 3rd and 4th place entries; if given these four parks to sort, I'd probably have put me in fourth and bumped the other two up a place each.
lucky for me i'm not judging, i guess. Taking second as a dual-game threat kind of makes up for not getting to face Kumba in that other recent micro contest :P
I had a lot of fun with this contest, not only in the creation phase but the viewing phase. Things are looking bright for RCT when I don't recognize half the names on the entry list and they bring parks of this quality to the table. Congrats to Emergo, r_e ( i still nominate you for realistic parkmaker of the year :P ) and Kumba, and thanks to the administration and participants.

About #4 "Happy Home":

I built my "happy Home" in a time I thought I would not be able to build anything at all, and even though it is just such a small map I hesitated even more, as I have never ever before built on such a small one and doubted very much if I would have fun trying to create anything decent/interesting out of it.....

Once having the idea and started, it went like a train and turned out to be one of the most "fun" things to do....

Like I wrote to Becky: " while building this one I felt like a little girl again, making "homes" out of cardboard and paint and old ribbons in shoe-boxes, forcing my parents and family to peep through the hole......"

I love it to see that I was able to create - more or less, lol! - what I wanted, and maybe even more that you all liked it so much also as a "representation" of the holidays-feeling/wanting/longing for....(making clear again that differences in race, age, gender, religion, place one is coming from/living at, etc., still are not enough to prevent that somewhere inside the same feeling can be touched.....)

So thanks to you all for enjoying/voting/judging this one.

][ntamin22, Kumba and Ride_Exchanger: lovely, great, creative parks you made for this one!!!
Even if the HH are more for the fun than for the win, imo you all fully deserve the runner-up without any doubt!!
][ntamin22's was my personal favourite for the beautiful layout/atmosphere, good buildings and ride (and that all in such a small one!), Kumba's was the top in hilarious effects and hacking and surprises, and R_E's , yes...amazingly realistic on such a small map!!

I also enjoyed all others that did not "win" anything, and thank everyone for sending in and adding to this event ( some people even twice ...), I really enjoyed looking forward every day to one of te parks coming up....
Thank you, you all had the right spirit and made my days living up to Christmas!

Last but not least: thanks to Becky for starting this one 3 years ago already and organizing it again!!

Emergo :D

Third?! Your all to kind. IMO this crap should not have made the top 10 let alone the top 4, but it is nice to see that people like comedic parks.

Emergo - I loved your entry, imo it was perfect for this contest and the clear winner from the moment it was released. I think the coolest thing is that it has so much detail every time I open it I try to zoom in closer, but then I realize I am already there. That affect alone shows what an amazing creation this was.

][ntamin22 - RCT2 also? nice! Tho I must say your style is pretty sloppy, but I still like it. I think the best part was the coaster, you managed to do a pretty good layout on a small map which I know is really hard. The Inn idea is a great concept and I think you pulled it off really well.

ride_exchanger - Cool little entry, nothing to really dislike about it, but I also was not that impressed by it. However, it was nice and I liked the coaster, the colors and the little buildings.

And sorry for the late reply, I have been really busy.
