I want to make (or, if there is one, acquire) this type of ride for RCT2

I think it would be fairly simple.. you could use the multi-dimensional ride cars, turn them around, and move the connector things to the back. Also get rid of the spinning options (or leave it and just not use it, if it's hard-coded). Pop them on a giga coaster track, and allow powered launch mode.

I'm new to ride-making so I don't know if it's possible, but it looks like it would be a really fun coaster!

That's going to be extremely hard.
28,224 frames to redraw, but divided by 8, that's less than 4,000.

Didn’t count Rider vs. Ride frames, but I’d guess it’s evenly split. Due to the ability to "program" the car’s position on any section of track, it would be like building a complete coaster for every rider position possible. I know I won’t be building one of these, myself.

I know that I won't be making that either.

EDIT: Bananasplit, have you made animated custom scenery before? If you haven't, you should NOT be doing ridemaking yet according to AE (Not me, Andy Evans, but the Amazing EARL).

Ah, maybe I won't be doing anything with it then.
I haven't made animated scenery yet, but I do have some experience animating some other things that don't involve RCT.

There is already a car like that made by Parkitect.... I think. I'm not sure where the file is, but I know that at nedesigns.com, if you download Paradise Island by Faceman in the Blockbuster section of the downloads, you will get that file, as there is a ride like that.

Hope you can find it!

I saw a picture in a topic there of a ride like that, and it looked like it had been done in paint or something. It would probably be easier to hack a 4d train so it goes backwards, but i know one person who tried, it didn't work out. It probably wouldn't be too hard to make new frames, just copying and pasting and switching direction, but it would take a really long time.

That was helpful! And I've already thrown a park together with three of them! Thanks for pointing that out for me, hope the OP (Original Poster) finds that as well. But there is a lot of custom scenery with that park as well...

That's perfect, thanks for finding it for me.
It's a little flat looking but I doubt I could do better :)

You can't make that coaster in RCT2. The coaster inverts, and the giga coaster track can't invert.

That is true, you can't really make that coaster because it has inversions and unless you hack the ride and add another track for the inversion then it won't work, but that just looks messy and I really don't like coasters that do that... ;)

Where there is a will there is a way. It does look like it can be made in RCT2 & 3 if you can get the X-Factor train to run in reverse. As far as the track well 8 cars can desiegn it , and it is like you all say , There will be glitches at first.
The way I see it if I ,you or some-one really takes the time to do this , It would be one great accopmlishment to add to the games.
Heck I might try it and see what happens. If I ever get it to co-operate in the game I will deffinetly GIVE it To ALL ....... It looks like it will be a challenge ......................
