I guess it says it al in the title. I am working on the Cell contest and i HAVE to have some no entry signs, yet i can see the guests going right through them! Did that ever happen to others? any way to fix that? (i guess i can always exchange it, like at the store!)
Curious.

Are the signs facing the right way?
Did you click on the "no entry" symbol to make it a "no entry"?

indeed this sometimes happens to me to ... I have no idea how it is possible (I guess a bug in rct2).
often placing the path again and putting a new sign there will help.

Happens to me also.
Very annoying, but in a Cell-park it can be crucial!
I have never found a solution that always works, but I start with what Levis^ said above.
If that still does not work (happened a few times to me) then I try if the sign will work if I place it one tile ahead, and adjust the path (with fences or the like, so that the working sign on that other tile can do it's work)
Be extra carefull if you have any underground paths on which this can happen!

Yes, in a cell contest park it IS crucial. I found that i had to open the park to get at least one peep in and grab that peep to put him in front of the sign to see if he would go through. Surprisingly, at one point, on a 10 tile stretch of path, i put 3 no-entry signs to have ONE work! Talk about illiterate peeps! (or stubborn)

Try putting a security guard patrolling by the area, it surprisingly works... sometimes

on a side question...
Do signs (non-no entry) serve any purpose other than looking cool? Do they actually herd peeps along in a direction? I know you can make a one way path by facing no-entry signs in the correct direction but do the signs don't stop peeps from entering do anything other than add flavor?
