Along with my Hersheypark project, I'm going to work on another park, but this one kind of is a creation of my own. Wilderness America (formerly named Wilderness Adventures in the screens) is going to be a combination with realness and fiction put together. Here's what I mean...

The location the park is on is a real place and is not that far away from a raceway in Maple Grove, just south from Reading. Since the nearest park is like 30-40 miles away, I thought, "What if Reading got their own theme park?"

Located along Pa route 568, it is in the middle of a farming and housing area. The land that was formerly a farm was sold to a multi-billionare and he wants to build a hotel, indoor water park, theme park, and thrill park on the land and the land ajasnt to it. The owner also want's it to have a wilderness theme to it.

So far, a road which leads into a parking garage underneath the park, a mini hyper coaster which will kick off a themed area to mythical animals and places has been built called Bigfoot, and a restaurant have been built.

The goal for this creation is to make it as realistic and as perfect as possible.

To add some realness to the park, some rides will have company sponsors. Next to the main entrance is a new first aid station and restrooms building. Going down the monorail midway is the wilderness Rail, and new, Jeep Off-Road Challenge.

This ride puts you through an off roading course with log bumps and 2 hills while going through a miniature forest. It's a cool family ride.

Across from that is the Fire Tower parachute ride. This takes you up a tall tower and gives you a great view of the forest-to-be.

To the left of that is a Burger King, a gift shop called Mother Nature Inc. which also has an ATM. At the other end of the building are lockers. There's also a Dippin' Dots cart in the main midway.
Stay Tuned For more! ;)

So far, this really looks nice. The structures look great, not too exuberant, normal. I love the idea that it's in a "real" location. Something that people could possibly relate to. The signage looks great. I like the one set on the angle and the idea of using the real jeep logo used as a sponsored attraction. And it's not so large that intrest wains before the park is complete. I really want to keep abreast of it's development. Great pics if you followed the link.

What youve got is nice but there is one bit I dont like that being the elements of the coaster in the top left hand of the park. It just kinda looks really awkward and I'm not tryingot say just add a turn around but just smnooth it out a bit.

Cheers

This looks really nice. I agree that the Jeep ride looks great!

One minor detail, if you are really going for realism, is the large open shop fronts. What if it rains? Even just a toe wall will help give the illusion the shops are weather proof.

Can't wait for more!

Not to offend anyone, but I've decided to make a change to the overall project.Since I want to submit this park into a contest when it's finished, I want to start over and make it a little more realistic. The last park lacked 1 thing that's important to a realistic theme park.... Landscape. Here's what I've done...-Started over, but this time instead of focusing on the NorthEast, I'm going to have 5 areas (one of them will have no rides) each with the NE, NW,SE, and SW, plus the Central part of the US.-Each of the areas will include the features that belong in those parts of the country, like swamps for the SE, hills and mountains for the NE, a desert and western town and maybe a canyon for the SW, and Snowy capped peaks for the NW.I've already started work on the NE and SE. The park entrance s similar to the old one and there's a carousel just in from the entrance. There is a carousel that leads up the mountain with a disko, viewing deck, ice cream shop and railway that leads down the side of the mountain. The the base is a log flume that travels in and out of the mountain which kinda' has a mine theme to it. Next to it is a wooden coast which I'm still trying to find a good layout for it.The SE right now only has only a waterway that will include an airboat ride, but that's all that's done for that part.I don't have any pics yet and I won't start work on the park until I finish my HP recreation. Sounds repetative. :D JK!

Well, at least you saw what improvements need to be made. You came to this conclusion on your own. That means you're still learning and growing in RCT. The previous park, Wilderness America, was a great start. But it got too far along to try and change things. Wise Move. Let me know if you need any coaster help.
