Do you have at least version 1.1 of OpenGL?

Find opengl32.dll in your Windows/system32 folder and right click on it.
Select Properties.
Select the Version tab.

I believe that will tell you which version you have.

BTW - which version of Windows are you running?

There was one version (My memory isn't that precise) around 1.23 that had difficulties with XP. I would recommend a trip over to RCTRevalutions and download 1.23d and 1.23b - possibly even 1.22. That will let you know if it is your version of the OE that is the problem.

Actually, I'd download all the versions of the object editor that are available. Some are better than others with different types of objects.

I'm currently using the latest four versions of the OE on XP SP2 with no problems. I think the issue is with something that's been installed on some people's PCs that is causing the issue with OE 1.23 not working correctly. What that is, I don't know and I don't think anyone has figured it out either.
