I recently aquired RCT3 Platnium and I love it! But, the only problem is: After about 30 minutes, my screen fades to white, I can't see anything, but I can still hear things in my park.



I've already contacted atari support, and they really weren't much help.....

Could it be your screen monitor?

If not, it cans only be your graphic card. Have you seen the minimum requirements?

Atrai support normally takes 5-7 days...if they respond, based on what I've heard.

I would hazard a guess that it's indeed your video card (and that assuming you have one...). Have you updated the drivers for your card? Do you happen to know your computers specs?

yes I do, here are some of them:

Processor: Intel Pentium M Processor 2.00 GHz

Memory: 1024 MB of RAM

GFX Card: ATI MOBILITY RADEON X600 with 256.0 MB of total memory.

I have tried to download the driver/update thing from the amd.ati.com website, but upon running it says: "Thank you for your interest in catalyst, but unfortuantly, your computer is not compatibile with the update you are trying to install."

If it is working fine and after 30 minutes it goes white - it sounds like a trial version problem. Did you have the trial version installed at any time?

I don't think the Trial Version would affect it, seeing how I had the demo and it didn't affect Platinum. I would suggest reinstalling Platinum.

...but not after uninstalling both platinum and the trial (save your work you want to keep in a new folder) cleaning the registry with something like regclean to remove any registry references that could be pulling platinum in a direction it shouldn't - then reinstall platinum.

Just because it didn't affect it for you doesn't mean it can't for someone else. Different Machines, hardware, OS, etc. can all react differently with RCT3...
