It's a family area, meant for families to have fun.
I look forward to the area opening. I wonder if Universal will do a good job.

Orlando does everything in a big way. This is where the competition between the major park chains is the hottest. If J. K. Rawling is 100% behind the project, it has to be better than the books and movies combined. Don't forget, it's a project that both Warner Bros. AND Universal Studios are murging their talents to produce. This is something you DON'T see every day. Two theme park companies working TOGETHER??? This may be a first in theme park history.
What could possibly be next? A Disney/Six Flags effort? (Ok, probably not... but you see what I mean.)
As far as the attractions, they said it's a park, within a park. Not just some themed land with a smattering of a few tea cups and a anchor coaster. It's at least five to six times the size of a single themed land of the IoA. Consider it, Universal's THIRD park in Orlando. So it's going to have it's share of thrills that even the thrill "seekers" will be pleased. I get updates and visit plenty of Universal Orlando fan sites. I'll do my best to keep you informed with any news & rumors, that I run across.

Yeah the word around here is that it's gonna be a pretty big thing. The biggest thing since the park opened it seems like.

I tend to agree. Universal hasn't really expanded, added new areas, and lately, simply replaced a few attractions. But nothing really this substancial. I'm a big Harry Potter fan. Own the movies, and all the books, thus far. I even themed the house & garage for Halloween. we had crowds of people in the front lawn. (Not gonna go into details here,) but it was the most popular spot in Tarpon Springs, on Halloween.
