It doesn't even seem like people enter any more. I was going to make one for August maybe, but it seems pointless now if mine can't be judged against others. My question is why don't people enter any more? Is it because there are no good parkmakers left or do they just not think they're good enough.

Oh, they enter. Just look for the announcements or go ahead and send your park in. Right now, the July Road Rally is running.

But no one even sen in a Vacation park for June, and May didn't have a winner and there were only two entries.

True enough. But the number of entries doesn't determine the contest. Each park is judged on its own merits and isn't really competing against any other entries that may be received.
If you think your park has what it takes to earn the honor of VP, send it in. You're not in competition with any other parks.

That would be great, if you enter your park for VP, for whatever month you want.
A VP-park is not a real contest, it is more an "award". If you send in your park and it meets the standards that go for a VP-park, you can get this award...., unless of course if there are many more that same month with the same or better quality, then you may end as a Runner Up if your park still is good.....
If you want to directly compete with other parks, like Rohn said, watch the announcements for monthly contests and/or enter a Road Rally,
Anyway, have (building) fun and cannot wait to see one of your parks

This particular forum is strictly for our Vacation Park contest which runs continously....its like a Spotlight contest. You build a great park, send it in, we judge it and decide if its VP worthy. Sometimes, we may think its a good park, but not VP, so we call it a Weekend Getaway!
You can read all about the VP HERE at the VP Forums.
We also regularly hold monthly contests. We have a "Road Rally" contest going on now with a due date of 9/30. You can check that out HERE and I also just posted a HALLOWEEN contest here with a due date of October 28.
