MEMO: To All Nutz 'n Boltz Test Subjects
RE: Jan 06 Test Challenge

As explained to you by Ms. Edna Mae, I am attempting to conduct research in support of my company's future development plans in the Theme Park area. Each month we will be taking a new subject and testing it to the creative limits. Any member is permitted to assist in this undertaking. Your efforts will be reviewed by our panel of engineers and research scientists, and those showing the highest creativity will be recognized.

All testing shall be performed on a workbench measuring 50 X 50 tiles in size. No other sizes accepted.

Test subjects are free to use any and all expansion packs.

Custom scenery is permitted, however copies of the files must be submitted with the completed bench.

All test entries must be submitted by 12.00 midnight, Eastern Time, on the published due date.

Test results are to be mailed to walterkrum@gmail.com

Cool, I start working on my entry.

But, can we build a water park with it? I mean like a pool and a slide?

Thank you for your interest in our research project Mr/Ms -MoNtU..., with the cooperation of you and other concerned participants we will endeavor to provide the most satifying theme park experiance possible in the future.

In reguards with your inquiry concerning the use of pools and possibly slides as an addition to your hotel, the research team has discussed this and made the decision to allow the use of pools and water park items, but with the reminder that the overall focus of this study is on the hotel itself as a functioning entity. Thus you are cautioned not to allow any use of water park themed items over-power the main focus on the hotel.

Thank you for your participation in our project.

This is going to be REALLY interesting..
I hope a lot of rct3-ers will enter this, I think I will..

It will be a lot of work to get all the details in the hotel, like beds in the different rooms, a check-in counter, a restaurant... Oh, the possibilities are endless.. Can you build with Soaked and Wild? I hope it will be yes..

SF- I think it'll pretty tough to have a bed in every room.

I'll be interested in seeing what parks are made after the challenges are over. I would especially like to see what hotels are made after the projects, as they require a lot of effort to do.

Depends how big your hotel is..
I'm thinking about making it small with a lot detail..

Myself and my research staff are heartened to see such interest in this program.

To answer several points brought up...

Basicly the hotel is yours to design as you wish as long as the bench size is adhered to, and the required rides and shops are included. Fully themeing the interiors is not required...but certainly not prohibited. The over-all design and creativity is what is important here.

You may use any expansion pack...as well as any custom scenery you wish. The one caveat is that you must make sure that any custom content is included in your zip file so that our staff also has it...this includes images used for any billboards. If you are a custom scenery designer, you may design and include your own custom objects as long as you include the object files.

All entries will have their screenshots displayed.

Hope that answers some of your questions, more information will be forthcoming in the days ahead.
