Hi-De-Ho Kids!

Well here it is...another Saturday evening on our empty social calendar...and what better way to fill in that void than to gather a couple loser friends without dates to sit back and watch some fantastic video? Yeppers, our Hollywood Hills Video Vaults are filling with just oodles of park and ride videos...there's some stunning work in there! And with our upcoming Scooper Video Awards (you can read all about them HERE ), we decided it would be a great idea to have an occasional Saturday Night At The Movies with Edna Mae! . Not only will this allow us to showcase some of the new videos out there, it also allows us to take another look at previously released ones...and fills large blocks of time in our date books! Isn't that just gooey? **giggle**

Say "hi" to everyone Margo...

MARGARAT: Hello dearies...so nice to meet you all. Care for a drink?

This week we have a couple of new ride videos, as well as taking a fond look back at a fantastic park. I've made a big tub of popcorn (alright...I made a heavy-duty Lawn & Garden plastic trash bag of popcorn...it's HEALTHY - I used only REAL butter...all four sticks of it.) and Margo has topped off her 62 ounce 7-11 Big Gulp cup with gin, so we're set to go!

Our first new video this week is the latest work by that up-and-coming director Viking16. His Viking16 Studios has really started putting out some blockbuster work, and will be opening a new site soon to showcase their work and offer help to those of us who have trouble operating a Kodak Brownie Camera ourselves (hush Margo...).

This is the new video entitled "Star Flyer" by Viking16. By-the-way kids...it will work much better if you download these video files rather than trying to wait for the buffering...trust me, you'll be MUCH happier! Now let's turn down the lights and enjoy the SHOW !!!

Wasn't that cool?!?! Had me seeing stars I tell you! I loved that ride, in fact I think we should watch it again! Oops...from the color of Margo's skin maybe we should wait a bit...green isn't her natural hue (it's much closer to a nice bar-room tan from the neon beer signs...).

MARGARAT: Oh, hello dearies...when did you get here? Can I fix you a drink?

Fine...we'll try out our second video. This one is also by Viking16 and is entitled "Burnt"...which strangely was also the name of the dinner entree Margo whipped up earlier tonight...
So without further ado...Margo, sit down, you can just hold it...we present Burnt by Viking16 ...

Another great one! Nothing I like better than riding a woodie in the fog! A well-planned out ride...just when you thought it was over it grabbed you for some more.

MARGARAT: Oh, sorry...my hand slipped

Well, since Margo is dancing around in front of the television, I might as well let her take a quick potty break while I tell you about our next video...Ensueño Amusement Park - VP3D Premier Park by Six Frags was the first video in our Hollywood Hills Collection, and was filmed at the very first RCT3 Vacation Park here at RCTSpace...and what a park and film it was!

Constructed not long after RCT3 was released, Ensueño Amusement Park showcased just what this new version of the game was capable of, and did so in grand style. This video is set up as a wonderful taste of the park's highlights, and gives you a glimpse of the stunning atmosherics found there. Well, Margo's back trailing a long piece of toilet tissue from her shoe, so I guess we're ready to experiance Ensueño Amusement Park...

Hit the light's Margo!

MARGARAT: ACK! There's a room full of strangers here! Enda, when did we move this party over to Tillie's Tavern? Set 'em up bartender!

Wasn't that just gooey kids?!

Now if this got you in the mood for even MORE great videos...head on over and borrow a few from our Hollywood Hills Collection. While your there take a few minutes to explore the entire RCT3D.COM site...there's been big changes there and more are on the way.

Now, besides getting ready for the upcoming Scooper Awards, we are always looking for more Park or Ride videos to add to our collection. Because of bandwidth issues - an issue my wardrobe is familiar with - we are looking for links to videos hosted elsewhere for download. We're going to try to save our bandwidth for possibly hosting some of the Scooper winners later. So if you know of someone with a cool video who'd be interested in either entering the contest, and/or listing their videos in our Hollywood Hills section, or maybe even YOU have some interest, be ssure to drop me a PM any time. Since our social calendar has a few empty slots coming up, we hope to showcase a few of these videos in more upcoming Saturday Night At The Movies with Edna Mae! presentations, so grab that megaphone and Lights...Camera...ACTION!!!

MARGARAT: That reminds me of my dear husband Mr. George Johnson...he was a director too you know. Oh yes, he wanted me to star in a big picture along with that hussy secretary of his. Said I could be a big star you know. He had the lights and camera's all set up. Took him forever, he was quite the perfectionist. But I'd had a wee sip of something to make me relax and I ended up falling asleep and missing the whole shoot. No wonder really since I was already in bed. I didn't even notice the microphone under my pillow! But Mr George Johnson seemed pleased with my performance, said I played the part of "Unsuspecting Sleeping Wife #1" perfectly!

Sigh...Say goodnight Margo...

MARGARAT: Oh! Goodnight Margo!

Goodnight Kids...

I love watching these videos Edna Mae! Viking Studieos is putting out some nice stuff these days. I thought I was in Space Mountain again for a minute. That popcorn is "butter drippin" goood! But I got to tell ya Edna dear, I didn't mind it so much when Margret spilled her drink on me, it's the persistant way she keeps trying to clean it up that has me nervous... actually, frightened. ;)

All in all I had a great night at the movies and am looking forward to more of the same. I have a couple of moves (I mean movies... don't know HOW that i got left out) of my own that I might share with you next time Miss Edna.

Until then, thanks for the night out... I needed it!

Thanks everyone for the nice comments and the Ensueño Amusement Park video was very nice the only thing I didn't like was it was TO SHORT. I know videos are huge files but I wish the video was longer. But over all it was very good. I and after talking to a few friends I will REdo that ride. Now 1 question I have is do people want the star flyer track? If so just ask and I will post it (It's a save game that's the only way I can save fireworks with the ride). So once again thanks.
