Our November 2004 2nd VP RunnerUp is.....

Luminous Cove by Louis!

rwadams had this to say about this great park:

I guess I'm just a sucker for good architecture. I thought the architecture throughout the park was excellent. I especially liked the entrance plaza and hotel area. The park was well laid out and the landscaping was above average. I also thought the coaster design was excellent.

The park was pretty good, but in my oppinion it wasnt nearly as good as CP6's park or S_f's park. This park is a very classical RCT2 park and had a peaceful atmosphere. The coasters were a bit to short and the archy was odd. Congrats on still a nice park.

Great park, I liked Dragon Fly the best, it just went really well with the streams and waterfalls. Good job! :)

Wait.. judges? Do you hate Louis or something? This was better than 1st runner up + VP put together..

Louis, this park was trully amazing, I will DEFINATELY be looking at this park again, then probably again and again after that. All the coaster designs were great, an awsome nemesis type invert, and the (sorry i forgot the name) looked great, much more interesting than the usual launch/up/down/brake routine. I loved the way you merged the track to make it look more 'boxy'. The theming on this was very Amity Cove ;) , the supports were great too, as on the invert. There was a few niggles in there i didnt like, mainly some of the missing walls on architecture. Shops would have been nice, especially since you didnt have signs on buildings. A simple shop in each would have helped IMO, even if you didnt name them. I could go on and on about what i liked, but its already 2:20am and i need some sleep.

I dont usually post on these forums, just come now and again, but i felt i had to post for this awsome park! It was great fun to look at.

Good Night/Morning.

I got to agree with Richie there! I truly think this deserves VP!!! Above SF's park!!! This is a great park Louis! Great job on making it and I know you put alot of time in it! Good luck furthermore with parkmaking and I'll see you in VP!!! :)

Lol, well, opinions differ...
It was a good park, but a few things kept it from amazing imo..
I mean, where are the shops & services?? That's a big no-no in my book, even more if you're going for realism (looking at the parking lots, grassy areas etc.).. I also think the (missing) employees at places are a let down..
I also noticed some glitches on 'Dragon Fly'...
It has its nice spots, like the almost xophe-like hotel, and the colorful area...
Good runner-up though

SF ;)

Thanks for the comments guys, and it's great to win my first RCT Award :D.

There were several flaws in it, and I can't stop picking them out as I go back into the game! The main reason was because this park was rushed towards the end to hit the vp deadline.

What I will do is take more time and mean flaws, sort out missing walls ect ect. I will add shops, toilets food ect and any other suggestions and then rerelease this park. Any more suggested will be welcomed and considered for the improved version.

I love the River Ride, very entertaining! I also really like the choice of colors... they work really well!

Good job, and congratulations.
