I have just finished the Comet and Giant Coaster from Crystal Beach. The Comet is the coaster that replaced Traver's infamous Cyclone. When the park closed, Comet went to Great Escape. Two versions of Comet will be included. One with the Crystal Beach station, and the other with the new station built when the ride was installed at Great Escape.

The Giant Coaster was one of the oldest operating side friction coasters, built by Hartman. This recreation has a wonderfully detailed art deco station modeled after the actual photos. All the stations have been carefully based on actual photos from both parks.

So that will be at least 3 coasters in this pack. Look for it soon!

Well, it was an early request that prompted me to work on this pack. I hope it meets with your approval.

I just found an old 1930s aerial photo of Giant Coaster that shows the old L shaped layout of the return track that was shortened in later years. You will be suitably impressed with the stations too.

Unfortunately, I cannot find enough photographic information for the park's old Backety Back Railway (an early coaster), or of its later wooden Wild Mouse. Otherwise, I'd do those as well.

I have one incomplete photo of Wild Mouse. It was actually one of the first wooden Wild Mouse installations in North America with a track similar to Boblo's, but I cannot be sure of the upper tier.

I have a station end photo of Backety Back, but have no idea where the tracks go or how they come back!

I am on a roll of enthusiasm and would love to complete the above coasters before leaving Crystal Beach for good.

I found the Wild Mouse (partially showing) in a photo on a calender some site is hawking, and I found a couple aerial photos of the park from the 1930's and 1940's in one of my coaster books. That is where I discovered the "L" section of trackage mentioned in an obscure description of Giant.

A couple days ago I received an email stating that my Nemesis recreation's scenery does not appear on my Master Bench. This was a problem that was brought to my attention about a week after my Master Bench was posted late October 2003. An amended bench, which was sent up a few days later, was either never posted or got lost during the December site crash. The original bench can be identified by the $300,000 cash fund available while amended Master Bench was boosted to $1 million dollars.

We are working on getting this snafu straightened out, and I will keep you all posted.

The amended bench will also take care of any folks who could not get my Thunderbolt @ Coney Island scenery to appear. There was a third coaster, who's name escapes me, it may have been a Flying Turns ride.

Sorry about the inconvenience.

I have a Track Pack suggestion. Could you do the Yankee Cannonball at Canobie Lake Park? I would like to see it in RCT2 without WW or TT.
