Greetings,

It has been a while since a new pack has been added to my Collection of Real World Coasters, so here is a pack of four single-rail coasters for RCT1 and RCT2.

Batflyer, formerly of Lightwater Valley, UK. This is the longest and most complex track of the set.

Scooby's Ghoster Coaster @ Paramount's Kings Island, USA. Though it is the shortest track of the bunch, I had the most fun creating its familiar false front entrance, and including the compound which houses small kiddie rides. What I thought would be the dullest ride in the pack become one of the most interesting visually in RCT2.

Sky Rider @ Skyline Park, Germany. This track is my favorite even though concessions had to be made with the cars.

De Vleermuis @ Plopsaland, Belgium. This is a small racing coaster with two tracks. I was very pleased with its smart looking station and queue layout for this one.

I hope you like the pack and its coasters.

BTW. This won't be my only visit to Plopsaland.

Thanks chief!

I was so hoping that RCT2, or its expansions, would have given us the proper elevator style lifts for single rail coasters, but it was not to be. Trying to incorporate standard lifts so they did not affect the overall footprint of the ride, or distort the track layout was the most problematic issue.

With Batflyer I tried to hide the lift with a wooden tunnel that matched the fort. With Sky Rider I went the other way and celebrated it with a screaming yellow paint job!

A lot of thought went into these little tracks. :saint:

Did you make them using WW or TT, or just regular RCT2?

I've been to Lightwater Valley twice. The first time Batflyer was broken down. :( The second time it was gone completely. So I'll enjoy seeing what it was like in this recreation.

Sorry about the ride imbalance, but I have a passion for wooden coasters and would be content to devote all my time to them. And, then, of course there are those deviations into the novelty department with non-coaster rides. I DO hope that you download all my rides and give each an honest chance. A park cannot live by steel alone.

Just RCT2. I never have purchased any of the expansion packs. Which, if you know my gaming reputation, is heresy.

While researching the ride again for RCT2 I discovered it had been removed from Lightwater, but decided to retain its original layout and theme from Lightwater for the pack. It looks like it was an exciting ride thru a valley and hills at the far end. I tried to recreate those for the example screenshots.

My workbench is available if requested.
