Not the best area. But it's still pretty good. What ruins it for me is Big Thunder Mountain.
Quite frankly the layout is crap. Try looking at other layouts. All I see at the moment is a mess of track going through some badly placed mountains. Harsh I know, but I say what I feel.
Work more on the layout and this could turn into a brilliant addition to what is already a great park.

Big Thunder Mountain usually stays on the ground or goes through the mountain, you hardly ever see a support on it. I'd demolish that one and build another one that adheres to the mountain. That gives it that manic feeling.

I think Those mountains (on BTM) could use some revamping.

If ya ask me, it looks more like a lovechild of Big Thunder Mountain and Expedition Everest. :|

It looks like you kind of rushed on Frontierland. Whether you did or not, here's some future advice, I've experienced it first hand:
NEVER, EVER work on a park if you don't feel like it. If you've gotten a litte bored or if it feels like a chore, DONT build anything. It won't look good because you weren't inspired and enthuiastic when you built it.
I bet if you redid Thunder mountain, as well as the layout of Frontierland when you're really in the mood for building, it would look fantastic. This area just doesn't have the spark the rest of the park has. The buildings look a little too plain, the others in your park were brilliant, which tells me you might have kinda been bored when you did this.
I'm sure it will look great when you've renovated it!

Here's a look at Rocky Mt Thunder Railroad. Please remember; this is Disney Canada, and I'm trying to imagine what a Disney park would look like with a bit of Canadiana attached to it. We do have a badlands in Canada (seen in almost every western movie made in the last decade), but it is not so grande as the areas in Utah, Arizona, or New Mexico. So I made my ride more like Everest, because that is what we've got, big, big mountains. However, the track on this remake is almost a duplicate of BTMR. I copied the layout from a file I got on the net. Keeping that in mind.... enjoy?

Also note that I haven't done any other buildings or landscaping yet. To anyone who liked Ft Alberta, I'm sorry, it had to go to make room for the new ride.

Never been to Canada myself, but of course I do know pictures from it, and I really think this adds a fine Canadian atmosphere.
Personally I am not a big fan of the HP rocks/mountains, but I think for this ride they can be working quite well, especially if you do some landscaping around them so that there is a more natural transition from the mountains to the rest of the area (yea, you already said the landscaping still has to be done, so we'll wait....)

Now THAT looks much better. Good job on the new Big Thunder Mountain.

I like it quite a bit. I see the resemblance between this layout and BTMR's layout. I agree with Emergo about the landscaping, though. I also think you should do a little more with the turn over the water. Otherwise its quite good.
