The merry go round is static I'm afraid. I'm not the ride maker Earl is or others. However, I have to admit, I'm going after an all over "look" here that involves a lot of work in objecteditor. I'm having as much fun making objects as I am in creating the park. I look at it this way... the park has a look that I created, including a bunch of original pieces. It is just as much a part of the game to me, to create objects and use them, as it is to create the park out of original software. Pinneaple, I've seen and admired your parks, and must note that you use a tonne of objects created for the game by others. No-one making great parks that I know of is a purest. I'm just trying to get an authentic look within the confines of the game as I know how to play it. I love this park, and that is what makes it fun for me. All feed back is good though, and I will continue to be pinneaple's friend, regardless of views on this park. It's a nice world, and a fun little game. I like to show off my parks, so I am cool with all comers. Pure life everyone!!!

Yet another park from the big D. I'm hoping this doesn't mean you've given up on Inspiration Park...
Anyhoo, looks nice so far. In my opinion the pink path really adds to the whole fantasy/Disney atmosphere. Everything looks good, my only complaints lye in the post with those two screens showing the carousel.
Firstly, the shrubbery by the umbrellas just looks really bland. Spice it up. Make the colors more diverse. Make the colors of the flowers brighter (if those are flowers) and use a darker colored shrub in place of the light green ones in front of them.
Secondly, the carousel top looks out of proportion compared to everything else. I don't know how hard that would be to change, but I'll just point it out.
Keep it up!....up.....up....

^Yeah, agreed. This looks really good dcornel. I think it's some of your best work ever, and the themeing perfectly matches the Magic Kingdom. Where did you get all this Disney custom scenery like the Disney Phiarmagic sign? I would like to have a lot of the themeing you are using in my own parks.
Anyways, keep it up!

cjman: Yup, I don't like the carosel either, but wanted show it in progress. When this park is done, I'm going to learn to make rides and will do it justice as a working merry go round. Then I will release it again. What you see here (for now) is the wrong canopy (I made a bunch before chosing one) on the ride. The real one will look better, though the ride will still be static. As for the flowers... you always keep me thinking about environment. Thanks. Thanks as well to everyone who posts an opinion. I was thinking, and I realize that since this is the Mother of all parks I have chosen to take on (and I am in great company with other parkmakers who have made such great recreations of this park) it really should have majorly varied opinions. I like the idea that there is still passion for the game. Oh yeah... I am not giving up on Inspiration Park... I was away from the game for a bunch of months, but had object editor... so that's what I played with.
coastercrazy: I made any of the scenery you are seeing that you have not seen before, and I will share all of it (hundreds of objects) after I finish the game. I have to give credit however to a bunch of people since you might recognize in game objects or other objects I have used in many of my own creations. I've been emailing as many creators whose works I have used in my creations as I can find. However, it is mostly my own work. Wait until you see Big Thunder Mountain.
As for the castle though, it is scale as much as the game would allow. Here are some pics, with a Magic Kingdom pic to compare to:
Please keep in mind that this is all "in progress". I am showing you pics of stuff as I create it, finished is not always my goal before posting 'cause I like the feed back. Have fun.
Post Script: Looking at it this way, I am now inclined to agree... the mid section of the castle needs to be higher. My mistake.
Oh yeah: Does anyone know how to keep homemade (and some game) objects from going in and out after I've used the 8cars zero all clearences feature? What about how to get rid of ghosts? (anyone know or have a reference I can look up?) Thanks
