If I understand it right, the deadline is now Feb. 15th. Am I right, I'm will join this constest.

Can I use just the Scenario-Editor or must I build in the Sandbox-Mode?

Mr/Ms Spanky-

The deadline is indeed now February 15th. We changed it due to several of RCTSpace's contests ending on the last day of each month and we didn't want them overlapping our very serious research projects.

You can build in either the editor or in sandbox...just as one of our talented staff can open the park.

I look forward to seeing your project!

Mr/Ms RCTtom-

Good advise! Thank you for helpping your fellow test subject...uh...I mean fellow tester!

Yep, Nutz 'n Boltz has always been a RCT3 contest  . While the forums section sub-title spelled that out pretty clearly, I also changed the name of the section itself to RCT3 Nutz 'n Boltz to better reflect this.

Mr Krum and his crew are using the three dimensional aspects of RCT3 to "help design better theme parks for the future" as his promotional material says. Hopefully a few people will take him up on this!

No need to  me, Wabigbear. I came here from the link on the home page, and didn't see anything about it being for RCT3 only. I was gone from the site for a while before coming back recently, and so I'm not completely familiar with what's what anymore. Sorry to post such an idiotic message. I'll try not to look like such an imbecile in the future. ;)

Your message wasn't idiotic - It illustrates that we sometimes take what we do here for granted and don't think that someone joining in the middle of the "conversation" may not know the specifics. It behooves staff to sometimes reiterate. I know I don't always remember that someone else may not have the history I often assume is obvious. :>

Well - I should open my eyes more. :><: I read about this on the home page, and was pretty psyched about it. I love making hotels. But I didn't even seen the little "RCT3" in the top-right corner of the Nutz 'N Boltz logo. So I can  myself. :> I don't mess with RCT3 anymore, but it would be really cool to have this kind of contest for RCT2. (Or have you guys already? )

We have, and we will again be having 'structures' as part of our RCTspace Convention coming this spring. ;)

Here is MR. Spanky ...

my Hotel is nearly complete, just a few additions here and there ... so I'm pretty sure, that you can visit the hotel on the 15th. Your rooms are reserved ... off course the suite :wait:

But please allow one more question ... I have used a lot of custom scenery (just the scenery, that you find in the Atari-Forums). Did you have any current custom scenery or must I submit the scenery with my Hotel?

This is indeed exciting news Mr Spanky!

Our top-notch research team has scoured the cyber-realms and gathered as much custom scenery as possible. As long as you haven't used something that was only made for your park we should be able to accomodate your project. If we come across any problems we'll be sure to contact you.

Thanks again,
Walter Krum
