No. I didn't.
:saint:

If my lackluster memory serves...
I believe I was talking about my own version of TOMORROWLAND... Not Disney World.

Besides, now that he told me that he's building his own version,
I completely understand where he's comin' from.

He doesn't need me to add to the frustration.
:>

Wolfman, I didn't mean to embarrass you. I was just pointing out what I was doing with the project and stated earlier. You can still comment on the screens, just differently now that you know it's nota total recreation.

Have a magical day!

<--- Not embarrassed.

But a lot of it makes sense now. But the mistake in the roof theming, well, I couldn't let that go.
Polynesian and Oriental are two completely different cultures. Beautiful, yes. But different.
Too bad there are no Tiki Gods objects to decorate the area. Those would be cool.

It'll be interesting to see what the rest of the park looks like.
Good luck and I'll still be watching the development.

Well, the main building from the Polynesian Resort got demolished, and I've basically restarted the resort (except for the longhouse). Right now, the Polynesian currently has 130 rooms built, with many more planned.

Here's a quick shot of one of the longhouses:

The bottom corner of the screen is unfinished, I know. Construction seems to be progressing nicely though, and the resort should be completed by mid to late June, possibly sooner. Also expect an update in Goofy's Diary a little after Memorial Day.

I don't know about those lights.

The whole thing looks so tropical and you throw in a few street lights. Try some tiki torches or something to fit the feel a bit better...

I'm too lazy for an official update, so here's a teaser of the staircase model used by guests to reach the upper levels of the long houses.

Also, be sure to check out Goofy's Diary for more construction photos and detailed plans about the project.

Have a magical day!
