I don't know Deluxe. Does it let you install JUST RCT1, then LL later? I think that is what Rohn means.

This is still a problem I am having to help me: I think that it would solve my problem if someone could send me a copy of everything the drexler patch changes (after patched) (the rct.exe, ect.) so that I can have the game patched and I could make a version of the drexler patch (pending approval) to work with rct deluxe for everyone who has a copy of rct deluxe (which is the only version sold in stores anymore, at least in N. America). If you are interested in helping me, send me an email, if you cannot find my email address, PM me and I'll PM it to you.

I hate it when people bump stuff, but...

In the UK, we've never had RCT Deluxe released. And providing you with the UK version of the exes to compare with the US Deluxe version is just going to confuse I think.

If this were me, my first step would be to ask Josef Drexler for the source code, and see how it is checking the exex to see whether it's "compatible" with the patch. My gut feel is that that's the only code you'll need to change to allow for the new version number.

By the way, what IS the new version number? You can find this by pulling up the 'About' window with the game credits.

Im actually asking for .exes from a US version of loopy landscapes that6 has been patched (along with everything else that may have been patched. I am not experienced at all with code changing and such, so i thought i would just make an SFX file to replace deluxe files with patched LL files. Ijust contacted Drexler.
btw it is version 1.20.015.

I Have The RCT1 Deluxe And The Drexler Patch Will Not Work For This Version,Due To Chris Sawyers Compacting The Progam into One Disk. I Tried Many Times To ReWrite The Patch To Work and It Stil Gives Me An ERROR When Loading The Game, You Can Install Minimum Off The Disk, If You Remember On Install It Gives You Complete Install Or Minimum Install Try Minimum First For RCT1 Deluxe It Will Only Load RCT1 Not LL,WW . It Will Only Load The Bascics Of The Game , BUT As You Know You Need The Disk To PLay The Game

Deluxe Cannot Be Patched At All ,Like I Said Before It Is A Loner Program That Atari ( Chris Sawyer ) Locked Down The Program, I've Tried To Open It Up And Split It Apart But The Only Thing I Got Out Of It Is ERROR Codes All Over The Place, So I Have to Play It Without Patches Sorry For The NEWS, RCT 1 Is In On The Deluxe CD Under Minimum Install Only.. Try That If You Want To Play Only RCT1 ( No LL,orWW) , You Say Your Running XP There Should Be No Problem with You Running ( U S Vers. ) Of RCT 1 or 2 , I Am Running Both With No Problems.. Hope That I Could Have Helped You , I Know That Some Computers Are Finiky On Running Games, I Really Hope That You Do Get Yours To Work For You. DELL Is More Tuffer To run games on than any other cmp. out there I Know I Own 10 Dell Comps. And there A Bugger To Play Games On..
