Greetings,

Fortunately, with all the new selected scenery and flat rides dats that I have added to my v2 bench, only two the two dats are troublesome. I suppose I could live without Jungle Boats, but with the Dreamwoodie coaster looking so much like a Morgan style train, life just couldn't be that cruel!

If providing these two dats as separate files in the v2 benches are the guarranteed fix for complete compatibility, it is a small inconvenience to pay.

Meanwhile everything works just fine here. My idea man has been unsuccessful to date, and I am still waiting on Coastercrazy since Friday to give me the results of his testing one of my benches.

Would anyone else be willing to be a guinea pig? Right now, I am in a holding pattern as how to proceed.

^ If you would give me some hints on what I have to focuss on especially, (the other things I'll tell automatically, lol!) then I can be a guinea pig.

I would , too.

I just bought a new pc with Vista and installed RCT2. Fresh install, no add ons or user created stuff. I have all my objdata from the old pc in a seoarate folder but haven't gotten around to putting it into the objdata folder in the game yet.

I can finally play RCT3, so have been rapped up in that.

Greetings,

If Emergo and JV7 would kindly send an email to my SBC address, I will send you a bench to test. The more testers I have, the more I'll know about its compatibility. Someone with just a bare bones RCT2 (no expansions or USEC ?, or huge dat file) would be a good test along with someone whom has numerous other dats.

I bet I could probably test out the bench, I have WW and TT, but they're out of commission right now.

Greetings,

Thanks chief for the kind offer of assistance. I just got a positive report back from Coastercrazy and just sent up two benches to Emergo and JV7. Depending on their result, I'll keep your offer in my back pack for the time being.

Greetings,

Well, positive news is finally coming in from all fronts. :P Mr. Panzer is finally able to open my test bench, and Coastercrazy and JV7 have also been successful.

So far, I will have to include a dat pack of the offending rides. The dat count is 3 and I suspect possibly one more. Not too bad considering all the custom dat additions. The trick is to keep on top of any new flat rides I rotate in and out of the several benches.

I am greatful for all the kind assistance from my "guinea pigs."

On to Santa Cruz.... B)

Greetings,

Thank you Emergo for the positive reply! :P I am now scoring three out of three.

Clockworkmyr. I will take you up on your offer as a tester for a different bench with two different dats. If you are game, email me at my outside address, or leave a pm in my mailbox here with your email address.

I will try to upload my first bench in about 14 days. Each new bench has an associated pack of coasters to complete as well. And that takes time too. :wait:
