I like the style of your building. Some of them are a bit blocky, but they still look good. My favorite screen is the second one, the peach and teal building is very beautiful.

The first area of the park I'm working on is called STRENGTH. I've used gothic design to highlight this emotion/acheivement. I think these buildings in our past showed strength of will, conviction and of science and technology (for the time). The rennaisance began the modern world (Western) and that is were I took my inspiration for this area.

Please keep in mind that this is the first draft of this area and it is far from complete. However, I've always received such great advice and comments, so I thought I'd do like I did with my last park, and put things up, even if I'm not entirely happy with them yet. It helped my last park a lot!!

Anyone know why I have a green "sicky" face infront of my post?

I love your building style. In the parks you've shown it's great how you don't pick a theme then build around that theme, you build and it creates it's own theme which can be interpreted in different ways.

Just work a bit on the coaster layouts. They don't need to be realsitic they just need to flow. :D

^I was wondering why you put a sicky face on your topic, but I guess you didn't. :P

Great archy, one suggestion though. In Canada's Wonderland and now here at Inspiration Lake, I've noticed that your coasters always look a bit cramped. Eventually this just starts to ruin the look of the park, so here's what I do to kill that problem:

When you start on a new area and you know where you want the coaster, first build the coaster, then build the archy. This way it looks like better and the rides and buildings interact better, and you don't end up compromising on you coaster's layout.

Great job so far

1) This looks to be getting a great park, dcornel !
Please go on!!! :D

2) Yes, it belongs in the WW-section (with only TT it belongs in TT-section, and with only WW or TT+WW we normally place it in the WW-section)
So I will move it to there for you.

3) about that smiley, no one else than yourself will have placed it there.... but probably you did not mean to and just did it accidentily, without even noticing, so I'lll see if I can delete it for you (edit: I cannot get it away, so you'll have to wait till another moderator comes along who knows better....)

Keep on building with this lovely park, and have fun!

Good point on the layouts pineapple... all my coasters dissapoint me. The funny thing is cjman, this time I did (for the first time ever) build atleast one of the coasters first (the giga) and I'm still unhappy with it. I am going to scrap them both and see if I can't do better. Thanks for the words Emergo, and for moving my topic. I guess I did put the sicko face in, but I don't know how I did it. Maybe it was in anticipation of my coasters. ^_^

You can always study real world coaster layouts. That can at least give you a sense of what to strive for... just don't copy them, give them your own personal touches. Remember, RCT coasters don't have to be too realistic, but you don't want them to be over the top either.

The buildings look great, as usual.

That's the thing with coasters...you really can't give instructions on how to build a good coaster. All you can really do is build a coaster, show it to people, see what parts need to be improved, then build another one, see how that one needs tweeking, and so on and so on.

Also remember that building techniques differ from coaster to coaster. You wouldn't build a suspended the way you'd build a mine train. Just build alot of coasters, and sooner or later you'll get the nack for it.

(From now on let's all put sicky faces at the top of our posts)
