Thanks a lot for doing this.

Only thing I am a bit `worried` about, is that (if I understood it well

Anyway, great work and if I have more time than now I will for sure try it

I'm not going through that, because I'm not experienced with that sort of programming situation. I'm kind of illiterate when it comes to such matters.

Too bad. I thought this would give my parks a whole new look. Especially if I could change the supports to the entry & exit houses on the coasters. I'm really tired of the wood structure supports when I use a path with a different support structure. I've always wanted them to match. Especially when a steel coaster has a wooden support for the entry & exit houses.

Bummer. }'-{(}

nevermind
By the way wolfman the program has 29292 images.... So it would take a while to find the images you'd need
And if you changed those wood supports... It wouldn't change it just for the entry and exit buildings anyways... It would change it for everything else too...

A RAR is just a compressed file....similar to a zip and simply needs to be extracted.
Here's a link to download WinRAR, if you want to be able to extract RAR files...a lot of people are using this method now.

Also.....if you don't like the default path supports, just make your own.....that's what I do.

@ Wolfman:
This is a RAR file. Windows doesn't recognize it. It asks for the program that created it.
I'm not going through that, because I'm not experienced with that sort of programming situation. I'm kind of illiterate when it comes to such matters.
Where I downloaded it from (just one of the given links), this is not a RAR-file, just a .zip.
But even if it (or any other downloaded thing ) would be a RAR-file, that would be a very easy-to-solve thing also.
Many people do use the so well-known Winzip, which cannot handle RAR-files. (never understood why this one got so popular, but that´s just me

Many other programs can do at least the same as Winzip and even more and far more conveniently also...
WinRaR is just focussed on doing RAR-files, like Winzip is on doing .Zip-files.
Many other programs can do a lot of different things, and no, it has nothing to do with `that sort of programming situation`.
One that I like a lot and am using as my standard one is Filzip. here´s a link(freeware without ads or spyware)
It does.zips and many other compressions in a very user-friendly way.
It can also extract RAR-files for you in the same simple way, but you cannot make RAR-files with it yourself.
@Joshiejack:
The best thing to would be to keep two copies of the g1.dat as backups so when viewing parks you can view them as they were meant to be... Also that's why you don't reallly want 500 people creating g1.dat's as that's when things get a little complicated
Josh, I know the best thing I could do is to go experimenting with it for myself immediately now, which I would love, as I think it gives such great possibilities!!!.......only...I cannot at the moment, because of lack of time.
So please help me to understand the following:
Say I overwrite my g1 (having backups of the original one of course), and make a park with that, will be looking lovely without those entrances and ride-underground from the game.
Of course I´ll build my scenery around it, based on the fact those ugly entrances and ride-underground are not there anymore....
Now someone else downloads my park.
And he/she did not use this facility to overwrite/replace the G1.
What would he/she see then in the game....???
Thanks in advance,
Emergo
