I have no idea how to advertise here, so I'm just gonna show some screens and give a little description of what I want to do with this project. My goal here is to build my own version of WDW, though it is heavily based on the Florida project, but it will not be a recreation. Here's a list of what I plan to have on each map. So far only the MK/North Service Area map has any work on it done.

Map 1: Magic Kingdom park & Facilities Way/North Service area
Lands in MK include Main Street USA, Adventureland, Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland, and two new lands (which may come at a later date).

Map 2: Magic Kingdom Resorts & TTC
includes monorail, ferry, and bus systems

Map 3: Ft. Wilderness Campground, Wilderness Lodge, & River Country Water Park
-self explanatory

Map 4: World Showcase Village
World Showcase from EPCOT without most of the attractions. Similar to what Walt actually had planned for WS.

Msp 5: The Disney Studios
-still working on details for this map.

More details on the project will come at a later time.

Here's a few screens of the North Service Area:

You haven't got too much here to comment about. Some security lighting around the parking lot & roadways. Good use of blocks for the A/C units on the roofs. Good luck with the project BTW.

As Wolfie said, there isn't much to comment on.

Let's see a ride!

In the second larger image:
The wall and the roof below it, seem to blend together. So it seems like one mass of "blank". Since the lower roof is gray, I'd make all the roof of the structure gray.

And there is a short wall above the lower roofline. And that seems that it should be continued around the entire lower roof.

You might want to try a Zero Clearance Absolute, to bring that short dead end wall, right up to the opening on the second floor. The odd, 1/4 tile wall is discolored and is too short.

I'm still working in the SE, so no rides for awhile. Wolfman, you might wanna use local.live.com to look up what I'm trying to do in the second screen. The reason for the wall not connecting all the way around is the monorail track will pass through there.

Well since my design went all glitchy (thanks to 8cars), it's back to this project. Thankfully I found a Disney resort map on my other computer, and work continued on the Polynesian Resort.

Hope ya'll enjoy it, and have a magical day!

Not quite sure that the polynesians used curved raised corners on the structures like the Chinese. The checkerboard pattern is WAY too busy. The theme is a rustic island. More natural. Less "glitz".

Here's a link to a Yahoo Image Search for Disney Polynesian Resort.

Here's a Google Chrome Image Search as well.

Google Earth. No checkerboard patters anywhere.

I redid the roof of the monorail station, and somewhat re-did the hotel, and I'm somewhat pleased with how they turned out. I've found the best way for me to get better is keep posting updates of buildings, and seeing what still needs to be fixed, and what looks good. So without further ado, the "renovated" Polynesian Resort.

Have a magical day!

P.S: Could a mod please move this to the WW folder? Thanks!

:(
I hate to bust your bubble like this. But this Monorail station has no
resemblance to the real one. It's much simpler in design actually.
But I've never put anybody down. I always provide some help.

This image actually expands twice. So you can use it for reference.
It's an arial that's more to the side, so you can grasp the details better.
