Does The 'purple Peril' Coaster Exist?

Does anyone remember the picture on the back of the RCT1 (original) box that showed an inverted coaster called 'Purple Peril'? It was fast and had terrain interaction and one of the reasons I wanted to buy the game. Does it exist at all? If I get time I'll do a scan of the picture.

I know and love that coaster

I wish it was real, I don't know

Is it from Megaworld park in the game?

Yes, but Megaworld Park was included in LL, not the original game. An empty version of the park, named 'Mega Park' was in the original game.

Well, If I remember right, I remember on the back of the cd cover for the ORIGINAL rct, they had an image of Shockwave and Spinner from Megaworld.

So why include 3 coasters from a park that only came later in LL?

I'm not sure that most people notice this...but Megaworld Park did SORT OF exist in the original RCT.

Though we got to play it in Loopy Landscapes, it should be noted that ALMOST EVERY RIDE WITHIN THE PARK is from the Original RCT without expansions. Chris Sawyer must have created a park to go along with it when the game was first released, but didn't plan to release it at the time he took the screenshots until Loopy Landscapes came out. Guess he wanted to give us a burst of nostalgia to finish off his masterpiece. Does anyone have scans of the screens, by the way?

See, in some ways, this makes me think that Megaworld Park should've been the last scenario in LL, not Micro Park. Go out with a bang, huh? ;)

Oh, and if you look closely at some of the ride picture at the building screen, you CAN sort of see the rides at different angles. This is present in RCT2, too.

^ Yeah! I noticed Megaworld DOES NOT use music, different entrances, or Corkscrew Follies or Loopy Landscapes improvements OR RIDES... I always wondered why they didn't...

Some of the rides look SIMILAR (like the red baron/shockwave for example)

I wish they set it so that you unlocked Mega Park and Megaworld when you completed the Original RCT, because I completed the game when I was young and I almost cried when I found out all those countless hours was for a crappy "workbench" that had no point and no fun. Mega might have been fun if it didn't have money. I only used a trainer ONCE in my completion of the original RCT, and that was to increase the money in Mega Park.

Sorta makes me think that Mega Park should never have been created, Megaworld Park should have replaced Mega Park as the last scenario, in RCT1.

^ Yeah! That would have been awesome finishing all the parks to unlock a HUGE park like Megaworld which had some cheap rides that fit into other parks.
