Try cleaning the disk. That usually works.

Also after you click play, do not click anywhere as that will cause a Error Trapper/Access Violation error every time.

Good luck!

Thanks eveyone, I had lost one of my patches and finally found it now it seems to be working fine. Hadn't played it in so long I forgot how many patches there were.

Hey everybody, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask but, I kind of have the same problem.

I haven't played either RCT or RCT2 in quite a while, and I just re-installed both on my comp. RCT2 is working fine but, when I installed Loopy Landscapes (for RCT) I'm now getting a message that says that this version of Windows (XP) doesn't support it or something. It said to contact Hasbro but, I figured I might find it easier to ask around here.

Does anyone know where I can find the 'patch' for this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Go to the websites (find the address in the manuals included in the packaging.) and find
DOWNLOADS and select the patch for your application. Probably should of been done before
you added any of the expansions or attempted to play the games. That's what I had to do to
run RCT 1 on Windows XP. It hasn't given me a moment of grief since.

Honestly, I couldn't find the manuals if my life depended on it. Well, MAYBE if my life depended on it, I'd dig through boxes in the garage and find something. It was hard enough to locate the disks themselves to install them.

I was kind of hoping that someone knew off hand where I could locate whatever patches or whatever I need.

Thanks though  , I'll keep looking.

Look no further than the disk. The manual is on the disk in PDF...
