since i like to give myself more of a challenge i;m going for around 5-9 cells. and i'm still working on first cell so far my park reminds me of paramounts great america. odd....I've started on the first cell. Progress is coming along good, considering the pace I'm taking.
I already have plans for the first two cells, and rough ideas for the fourth.

128x128=16384
16384/4=4096 for each square which is
64 by 64 for each square.
I think 4-6 would be good on average.

I envy you all, for this cell-contest last year was the most special contest I ever did, and gave me the most fun and satisfaction: because there are so many different aspects you have to take into account: those special rules, how to in spite of that keep the guests in your park happy enough and lure them into riding the coaster in every cell (he ultimate goal, after all), how to keep them flowing like you want them to flow, and how to make this park still as beautiful/attractive as possible.....
Alas, due to my accident, I fear I will not be able to enter this cell-contest-season , but be sure I will follow this very closely and whomever may win this year (the best of course!) is already now challenged by me to make a hell of a competition out of it next year , when I'll absolutely be in again
Tons of luck, fun (and no headaches....) with finishing your parks

Anyway, this is the last week of school for me, so I'll have alot more time to work on it next week.
This is a very tough bench...much harder than last year's...Nevertheless, I'm still coming up with ideas, I've got a good theme for the park now.
Oh, and I need alot of space for my cells!! That's how much.
I hope lots of people enter!!

^What accident?
Yes, sorry: I had a severe traffic accident , keeping me in hospital from late December until end of April. Can still only use my left hand, but they are still working on the right arm and hand....
Pity the bench is so much harder now, why do you think it is...? (have not seen it yet)

The bench is harder because there are only 1 unit high walls. There's a good selection of building blocks as well, So it takes more time to make buildings. *clickclickclickclick*
You should check out the bench to see what I mean.

A traffic accident? That's awful! I hope you get better soon.

^ Thanks for explaining.
cannot downlaod the bench yet, for when I cam home I got a new internet-provider, and they still don't have my mailbox set up.
But I understand what you mean, I think.
In the other bench there were no 4-unit walls either, but there were 1- and 2- unit high walls.
Am pretty sure the choice was made to throw out the 2-unit high ones so that there came more space in the workbench for more other objects, as nowadays one can hardly build a park anymore without a huge selection of 1/4 tile blocks and additions. Don't misunderstand me: I personally think that some great builders can make wonderful parks without too many of those things, but...eeeh.... times are changing and there must be enough attractiveness in the benches to make people want to build with them
Anyway, lots of luck with you cell-park, it's a tough concept, but very rewarding if it works...
