clarify what you just said?

we can have other rides in EVERY cell? but starting with the 2nd cell, only 1 of those rides can lead back to the previous cell?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Becky already confirmed what you asked.

To clarify it further (as I myself had some problems with this concept when I first read it):

- you can have as many other rides in each cell that you want, as long as they have their entrance and exit, and the path that lead to their entrance/exit
within the same cell they are placed in.

But also in every cell, apart from the first cell, you must have one flat ride of which the exit-path gives the choice to either return to the previous cell or stays in the same cell. Of course this does not apply to the first cell, for that would mean that the exit-path leads back to the "last cell" in your park.

:D

ok now i have a question regarding coasters. some of my coasters excitment rates are so close that im afraid if they fluxeutate(move up and donw) that one from one cell will become higher then the next cells coaster which is against the rules. is there a way to preseve the excitment rates as to keep them in order of the cells?

and another question i have is because i only have 7 cells in my park many of the connecting paths are very long and either go hing in the air or low under ground. in the case that a peep goes into the next cell and gets to the rollercoaster but does not choose to ride it can we have should we have no entry sign so they can't go bak to the cell they came from(cause it would be a long walk)

Can I have more than one coaster per cell as long as the coaster with the higher excitement rating has its exit to the next cell? :ermm:

Oops  forget that last question, I found the answer....

You can and must have other rides in each area (cell), but only 1 coaster

Is a 'dingy slide' considered a coaster? It's under 'coasters' in the build window.

In your diagram explaining this rule....

you must have the exit from a gentle, thrill, or water ride that can lead peeps back to the previous area (cell) or keep them in the area (cell).

I am assuming that the path leading from the exit of this ride (i.e. the path in between the two 'no entry' signs) cannot have another path leading back to the current cell (with another 'no entry' sign). Is this a correct assumption?

And, good question about the dingy slide... I personally wouldn't count it as a coaster... but I'm not a judge either.

The exit from the 1 flat ride must give the peeps a choice to either go to the next cell, or stay in the current cell. You just can't have a path going from one cell to the next, unless they ride the flat to get there.

You are misunderstanding what I am saying. :(

Let me try that again....

I am assuming that the path leading from the exit of this ride (i.e. the path in between the two 'no entry' signs) cannot have another path leading back to the current cell (with another 'no entry' sign to prevent peeps in the current cell from going back to the previous cell without going on the flat ride).

Basically what I am asking is that can the peep who just rode the 'special' flat ride have more than one path that leads him/her back to the current cell in addition to leading him/her back to the previous cell? If so, then it is a requirement that each of these paths leading back to the current cell MUST have 'no entry' signs to prevent peeps in the current cell from going directly back to the previous cell without riding the 'special' ride.

Does the term 'flat' ride also include 'transportation' rides? If transportation rides are included as a 'special' ride, then if I build say a 'monorail' with two stations, do both exits have to lead back or just one? Can I have a gentle 'car' ride (non-flat) as a 'special' ride?

LOL I understood your question, but just didn't explain fully.

The way I understand it is the flat ride (or any ride that isn't a coaster) will either send the peeps to the previous cell, or let them stay in the cell they are already in.

So, yes, you can use a transport ride as the 1 "flat" ride, and yes, you should be able to have multiple paths leave your flat ride and stay in the cell, and must have 1 path lead to the next cell. Remember, you have to place no-entry signs in the proper places so peeps cant just walk to the next cell without riding the 1 "flat" ride.
