Ok, enough joking around. I know there's some places like this out there.
I've edited my request, can someone help me out?

This isn't really a promotion, but rather a warning.
I use to always depend on Tripod for free hosting. It was great. You had the choice of either adding a banner to each page (with no pop-ups) or having ONE, count it, ONE pop-up with each visit to the site's main page if your site had frames. That was a very nice deal. I mean, my site with frames had only one popup. Now, they have decided to change their rules a bit, and they have slowly started to flood the sites with pop-ups. Just go to a tripod hosted site and see what I mean. Grrrr....
Down with Tripod!

Well, I wouldn't act like that when someone is GIVING you something. They're giving people a free service to help them out. Being thankful never hurts.

i12.com is a great host! 800mb Limit "Lots of bandwith" Unlimited POP3 and forwarding email accounts (YOU@YOU.i12.com) Umlimited Domains(www.NAME.i12.com) FTP Access And much much more! [/quote] I checked that place out, it's a little weird. I mean heck, you get a DIALUP number! That is ultimately weird! #37Posted 09 July 2003 - 11:27 PM
I too am looking for a free host. Unlike some others, I have a few specifications...
- 40+ mb of space - PHP enabled - Browser Uploads and Management - Allows remote linking I hope that some one can direct me to a free host that offers those services. Creator #38Posted 10 July 2003 - 12:29 AM
Go to simresource.net, they are hosting, not sure how much space you get, but you get forums, php, post nuke, and more, I would be there now if I didnt already sign a year contract with freewebs. If you dont like SimResource.net, you might try hostrocket.com, I've heard good things about them. But I stongly suggest any1 in need of a host to check out simresource.net.

Freewebs is a very good site to use, but if you start paying and Have jumped to expierienced mode, I'ld suggest you do a dual account, the price for the premium service package doubles when you swithch to expeirienced user.
My only major problem is all of the down time Freewebs has. #40Posted 05 January 2004 - 12:25 AM
I've always needed a place to host my site. Freewebs doesn't wrok since it won't support my I.E. version and I can't upgrade to a new one since my computer has a bug (it's basically crap). Any hosts that support I.E. v 5.x?
