Well...IF nin and Airtime decide to enter as a team, every other 'single builder' will be at the same disadvantage, right? I doubt that any of the rest of us feel that they would have an unfair advantage. C'mon...let's see what ya got. You have no bench restrictions to worry about so you get to live or die 100% on your own this time. And, I guarantee that you won't have to worry about being the only entry either.

Thanks but no thanks.

I don't see how a single builder could stand a chance against a team. It's an unfair advantage. So I will not enter. Thanks anyway. But I guess since my entry won only because I was the ONLY entry. I really don't stand much of a chance anyway.

Comeon wolfie, my entry was terrible. Just enter in, although I think 5dave is going to be the winner anyways.

I'm a solo builder. In my book, solo builders don't go up against team builders. Thanks to a loophole in the rules, the RR has morphed into an abomination in my eyes for this year's course. Unless Airtime and Nin enter as solo competitors... (But I don't see that happening...) I don't want to have to defend my opinion for the next three to four, weeks and be seen as an argumentative troublemaker. So give it a freakin' rest already. I'm not entering. Accept it. Subject closed.

To enter or not is always a personal decision.

As a frequent judge, I can say with certainty that a team entry for me has a higher bar than a solo. How could it not? Even with the problems inherent with a team entry, the workload and expertise is reduced and the expectation for judging would be inversely affected.

As I have said before, I believe team parks are for clubs and for personal satisfaction, not for contests. That is unless the contest IS FOR team entries.

I think expectations should be increased for team entries, and considering that rr's have small benches and large dates, teams aren't needed.

Well considering they probably wont enter as a team anyway. And seeing as that probably wont enter at all there isn't really much point in this discussion.

Personally, I think the only advantage a team would have in this type of contest is with the deadline approaching and someone not having time to build. Or, if one team member is working with someone who is a bit more talented it could raise the quality of the project....but, at the same time it could also lower it for the other member. And....nothing better than being totally in a building 'zone' and the other guy has the park.

I don't see it as either an advantage or disadvantage so I don't know what all the fuss is about. Well.....other than the obvious.

Will there be a deadline extension if all the participants agree?
I neither want to send my entry in unfinished nor rush the whole thing.

I wouldn't be adverse to having a week extension myself. As both 5Dave and Jag stated, it would be much better than any (or apparently all) of us rushing to finish what should be a pretty good RR final here.
