That happened to me multiple times. They never go away.

You have to be even more careful with hex editors. If you edit the wrong process, mainly a process that's vital to your hard drive or system, and you don't have a LOT of experience, you could ruin your entire system. You have to be careful when using trainers. It's worth while to do experements in parks you don't mind loosing or screwing over. Read as many tutorials as you can on the trainer's features that you are interested in. You'll make mistakes. EVERYONE does. It happens.
Trainers have a cirtain way to go about doing things. If you make a mistake, it could corrupt that particular game file. Sometimes, in many cases, there is no way to repair the damage a trainer can do. Especially if you're just starting out with a powerful trainer.
Trainers do not alter the game program on the disk. They only alter how the game functions. So there's no danger in corrupting the actual RCT program. Just the game file you happen to be running at the time.
It's best to experement, and learn the trainer's more complicated hacks, BEFORE you apply it to a park you've worked days on. Use a park that you have created and saved as a scenario, BEFORE hacking into it with a trainer. This will become your "Experemental Park". Never "save over" that park file, but rename it to include a number, (versions,) or something, so you never actually alter the original scenario file.
Believe me. Nothings worse than wasting a park you've worked long hours to create, by using a trainer feature you're not entirely familliar with. You could make mistakes that can effect the entire park. Not just the area you're working in. It's worth it when you get it right.
Good Luck!
Don't forget to save in "version #'s".

Son of Beast has some decent features as well. But it too can be a bear to get to know and work with some of the more notworthy (sic) features. I use it also. But only because it has a few features that 8 cars doesn't. Most everyone uses both, but don't try to use them at the same time.
