^ RCT station was the RCT2.com from 1998-2002

But Red Phoenix didn't have enough funds to continue that site, so RCT2 became our rally point once again after RCT2.com got on it's feet...

actuallyyyy he closed it down on his own terms. I recall the topic in the staff forum of him contemplating closing it down, I don't remember finances ever being mentioned.

Although I was not present in the Station staff forums - I believe the finances were discussed later in public as a response to inquiry rather than as anything more than a possible contributing factor.

I don't think there's a RCT site owner of multiple years that hasn't at some point had the internal debate over whether it is all worth the time and money.

Work loads, frustration, and life were what made me shut RCTHQ down all 3 or so times.

But you never pondered if it was all worth the time and money? It sounds like you did...

I remember RCT Station. I just joined when that was beginning to end. It was a great site. But I'm far more used to this one than any other one.
