could I import a 3d model directly to the open GL, or do I have to make it a bitmap, then make all the frames, then make the peeps?

I may be able to add support for model importation in the future. That would be most useful for tracked vehicles.

Only the most committed individuals could invest the time and effort to generate all the images the "old fashioned way".

Ahhh...yes. But to quote a VERY wise man:

"No goal worth reaching is easily attained." ;)

(Besides, I've been committed before.)

I was hoping you would appreciate the way I phrased that. ;)

Thanks Doctor J for making this and RCF for hosting it! :D

This is great, I especially like the ghost image feature, it really helps! :D

Very cool! But I have run into a problem. I made a 1x1 animated object. But when it came up in the game it would flash a alligator shaped tree every once in a while! I saved it again and now it flashes a allepo pine tree! Why is it showing frames in the game that it doesn't show in the editor and why do they even show up in the first place?

There is likely something wrong with the frame count. You can send the file to me to check out.

Oh, yes...indeed. That was the problem. I had the animation sequence set to 4 frames and was only using 3. I think that would have worked if the frames weren't set to 4 too. Thanks for the help!
