Thanks you guys for your kind responses and tips!

Havingfun... got that all sorted out, thanks for your help! ;)

Sambo and Coastercrazy, I'll have to try that Vacation parks upload and see how she goes, thanks you guys!

VERY IMPRESSIVE! I don't see rct2 parks that good very much anymore, you did an amazing job!
You can upload it to the member uploads. It says dat files only, but because of what hf just said, and what they have been implying at the site, I think that's just an old rule that they forgot to correct. They already welcomed a few utilities.

By the way, you look like you might like this. made it last year, and updated it twice, most reciently in august.
It would match well with your resort!

WOW! A swimming pool with swimming peeps!

That is a must-have for Miami, thanks and I'll have to look that up over there!

Here is the original Razz-ma-tazz from the Vegas build, the previous one was actually Razz #2.

I guess you could say it was influenced by the Circus-Circus hotel...

Here's another aerial shot of Vegas...

That large yellow object was a glass pyramid. Took a week to build.

This is from a build I can nolonger open...

At the end of the Vegas strip was this space hotel...

'nother Vegas resort on the big strip...

^ I think the coaster is named "Monsoon", but was changed to "Maha-Haha". :D

Once again, fantastic work - especially on that glass pyramid! What's housed inside of it? I noticed you've been putting good uses to the Time Twister/Wacky Worlds objects & rides. Most people do not use the expansions and you have done a nice job of working with them. :)

Looking forward to more!

Thanks again CC, I have two parks over at Object List and just tried to upload Rush Hour, but I'm not sure it worked, lol.

I hope so, it takes a half hour to set one of those up.

That glass pyramid was my version of the Luxor and was a super pain to build and outfit with a coaster.

As big as the pyramid was, it was difficult to fit a decent coaster without breaking it, lol.

To build that, first you raise the tallest pyramid/land you can, then cover it with glass cubes, then cover the cubes with glass roofs, then put glass half-walls, then hold your breath (hit "save"!, lol) and pull down the mountain and hope the pyramid remains.

The cubes should disappear leaving just the glass roof and walls.

Man, that thing took more than a week come to think of it.

Thx :)

Well thanks for all the nice replies folks, here are some new resorts and exec hotels etc. in my new "Miami Miracle Mile" build, let's take a small tour...

The Majestic was my first real high-rise build with a new style...

Posted Image

Well folks, I lost my old Miami build when my computer died, but you know how it is guys, you just have to come back even better... The New Majestic...

Posted Image

Posted Image

The Avalon...

Posted Image

Posted Image

That structure just behind the resort is the Avalon Opera House.

Posted Image

Pool area...

Posted Image

Some assorted executive-style hotels...

Posted Image

Posted Image

Posted Image

Right now I'm working on a hotel for the new baseball stadium...

Posted Image

Much closer to full scale than the old stadiums.

None of these really got the finish coat and the whole park needs a good detailing, but many are more detailed than when I took the pics and so far I am happy with the results.

Thx :)

Nice bunch of new work!

Thanks Sam, I'm trying to do more builds with quarter blocks, layers and trying to make things so they are not so symetrical.

That park will be a few more months in the finishing, but I'm breaking up the monotiny with some new coasters...

Posted Image

I have a new park "Sir Jeffrey's Designerama" that was made to replace the "coaster designer" function and also add 150 of the best custom scenery picks...

It also has about $400K worth of cashable scenery...

Posted Image

I submitted it to another forum, but they have been sitting on it for some time now, maybe I'll put it at the objects forum.

Thx :)

For the last week I have been struggling to get a good design for my baseball stadium hotel, you have just seen a rough build of the stadium which still needs plenty of work.

I started with this idea of a narrow building with these rounded white corners...

Posted Image

There was going to be a wing that jutted out perpendicular to the main stack you can see marked in the land in brown and gray, (the big square hole was going to be a glass medalion of sorts), and it was a matter of who gets the view of the field, the stack or the wing.

I wanted something that was not too bulky and also not too wide like the above that it obscures the stadium itself. After about five builds like the one above I came up with this...

Posted Image

The best view is from around the fourth floor, you get a ringside view of first base and can see the whole field without straining your neck too much. The windows are armour-glass in case of foul tips and sorry, the TV station is set up on the fourth floor so you will have to reserve a suite on the fifth floor.

The front entrance which still needs work...

Posted Image

That glass statue is supposed to represent a baseball of course.

If I feel ambitious I might replace or put alongside it a dressed up 3-D theater that represents a baseball, my other parks had one set atop the baseball museum/souvenier shop.

The signs set as reminders for me in the front say: "Try Our Ty Cobb Salad!" and "Try Our Yankee's Pot Roast!" (Uh, "Catfish Hunter"?) sorry. :)

The back pool area that is more finished...

Posted Image

Notice those barbecues in the corner by the prep station... when they grill steaks during games the whole crowd becomes hungry for steaks, but can't get 'em inside the park, lol.

Somehow I always tend to finish the pool area first, maybe because it is more fun and a nice diversion from the repetitiveness of putting up a high-rise.

This place could have been baseball themed much more, like and "infield-styled" pool, but I didn't want to get carried away and wanted to end up with a nice hotel for any situation.

I wanted to build a football stadium as well, but I didn't have enough room in the park for something approaching full-scale. Not that and a baseball stadium too.

So maybe I'll fudge and say it converts to a football stadium in-season. :P

Thanks folks, and more updates on the New Miami resorts coming soon!

Thx :)

Eventually there will be a baseball museum in front ot the hotel with a 3-D theater that looks like a baseball.

Thx :)
