First of all, I think the objective stating "Use the provided 40 x 70 workbench" is pretty clear. And, the fact that if one was to include the blacked out tiles, the area would be 70x70 (68x68 actual tiles). Which is a lot different than 70x40 now, isn't it? Also, the fact that they are not only blacked out, but sunken lower than the workable area indicates that they are not part of the usable map. They're obviously blacked out/lowered for a reason. Anyone with an ounce of common sense would realize this. Same goes for the paths. When you look up at the building options, aren't paths right there next to the rest of the scenery? Between actual objects and available rides/stalls? I know they are in the version of RCT2 that I play.

I mean, c'mon.....everybody else gets this, although I realize that some people just can't sleep well at night unless they can find something to question/complain/nit-pick about every single contest that is posted.

Road Rally objectives.....so easy, even a caveman can understand.

A caveman?
:><:

The blacked out area is not intended for use although the rules specifically don't say as much. We thought it was implied enough, but maybe further clarification is in order. Use the area at your own risk. How's that for ambiguous?

The Paths were not specifically mentioned as they reside in the bench as well. We used rides and scenery only as illustrations of the concept as most folks know those can be changed. Some may not be aware paths can be changed.

Maybe it would have been simpler to say no additions, but someone would ask if adding a hill or lake is an "addition".

Asking for clarification is usually a better option. Glad you did.

Don't they prefer to be referenced as "Neanderthal"? I may be wrong, but I don't think that they ever really lived in caves. I believe they built shelters though. So to be historically and politically correct... It's not "caveman" anymore. So I would suggest that it's time to update your address book there K_W! :P

I think I'm going to shoot for this one.

Just one question: Can we hack different parts onto the Looper to make it look cooler? Or does it have to be your standard looper?

BTW, it's been a while. First post in over a year!

^ I realize this, but my question is: Would hacking the coaster change its classification as a "looping roller coaster"? I guess I should have been a bit more specific.

My park is fine, but if I would be in the running for a win, my bad landscaping would cost me the win.

I think that as long as you start with a "looping roller coaster" and use the same trains, you'll be fine.

Try to remember that the images for the cars of the Steel Looper are very limited.
The car images do not include images intended for a corkscrew or an inline twist.
So the trains may just disappear as they pass through those inversions.
But they'll reappear afterwards. Worth checking out before you go
ahead with creating the perfect coaster though.

Good luck!
