I will defend my 2007 RR Championship and try to extend my 2-0 record, but not this round. Just to much to do with Micro Madness at NE and school starting.

I really like the places, looks like Peru/Ecuador?, Morocco, the Philippines, Norway/Sweden? and is that really Iraq I see in the Middle East?! if so LMAO, id enter that for sure :P

I would be willing to do most of those upcoming places and may make some plans for them.

Also Emergo if your running it will you be entering? And who will do the judging?

Good luck guys, but I intend to win it all... again ;)

Yeah same with Kumba, I would do this, but I haven't been eliminated from Micro Madness yet  . If Peru is one of them though, then Im definately doing it. I went there last summer and it is an awsome place, lots of things that could be used in the game.

I think that I'll (finally) have a go at this one. But one quick question, are we able to use a different track, but still use the necessary coaster trains??

@ Kumba: ehh.....I am not sure you are right about all the countries... but anyway I think they all are rather, or very, interesting (picked them myself  )

As you can read in the first post, I will do the judging, and where needed - might be veeeery often if you all send in great parks, lol! - I'll ask for help from other staffers.

I cannot predict yet if I will be entering this year: my schedule is very full already for the whole year, (family-things, work, and work, and work, and still a lot of scheduled surgery on my right arm/hand) and my own priority for RCT lies in going on with Music Masters when I find a moment again, for in RCT building still is one of my greatest passions. That may also be the reason why probably I won't/cannot be doing this "job" as long as Becky did.......(let alone how good she did it!!)

If I still decide to enter, some other staffers will tweak the bench a bit so that I don't have any advantage on that one, and do the judging for that round, without me, like you do for MM......

And if for various reasons I find no time to enter this year, I'll certainly do the year after.

So make sure you win this year also, lol!, for then in 2009 we do have 2 people who won a Road Rally Championship twice, and defending that one would be awesome.....

@ Camcorder22: yeah....one cannot do everything at the same time, (wishing you both lots of luck and fun in the in Micro Madness in the meantime) but for the Road Rally season there are many more months this year in which you can still enter while Micro Madness is over, so looking forward to an entry from you then!

As much as I am looking forward to the entries of the ones that will enter this month.

So start building and enjoy it!

^I love your idea of having a go on this one!!
So please go....!

On your question:

-you can make the track invisible if you want that;
-you can merge parts of other track-types into it if you want that (still using the necessary coaster-trains),

but the mandatory rides (Mine Train Coaster and Soap box Derby Racers for this one) have to be used and well recognizable in the ride (track as well as cars), as that is one of the objectives.

If I can I will join you in the comp for the middle east ;) and maybe the norway/sweden one to. those sound very intresting to me (got nice ideas for it).

@ emergo -> I guess you have the european version of rct2 so why dont you set the language to german to find it?
because I use the no-cd crack I have the english version now and no language selection but I remember the dutch/european on has.
else you can also open the dat with the ride editor and you can see the names I believe.

^ Looking forward to when you can enter, Levis. (I´m sure we can find a way to arrange it so that also staffmembers don't have knowledge in advance about the countries and benches).

About the language: I never have had any other version than the English one, and never have seen an option to change languages in that one....
Maybe this is a good tip if you use it the other way around though??: the ones that do have a European version could themselves do those changes and see what it means in their own language? (I have nothing at all against some do-it-yourself-work by the members in cases like these, ) Thanks anyway.

@Fr3ak: yes, you are allowed to enter as many times as you like throughout the season.
Exception are the finals (in November) which are "invitation only", meaning that just the people who made a winning park (or a Runner-up) in one of the former months of the season can enter that last one.

Can anyone enter this? If so, let me see if I have this right  .

You use the bench that's provided (I already downloaded it and checked it out), make sure you use the two rides that are objectives, and you just have to build a park that is representative of the specific place that is for the round?

Like, build anything you want? As long as it includes the objectives and you use the mandatory bench objects? If you build other rides too, do they count for anything?

This, I can do  . I live pretty close to Mexico and go ther eall the time, I might have an advantage here. I saw some of the Road Rally winners from before and I think I have an idea of how everyone sets this up. Like a mini-caricature of the whole country put into a little map?

If I have anything wrong here, please let me know because I think I'll give this a try.

I said to myself this year, I definitely need to enter a Road Rally. I also thought if it is Mexico I will definitely go for it. I think it's a sign.

Hopefully if i can build to a decent quality with MM and this you can count me in for this month.
