good park, i didn't really enjoy this one as much as the first due to a lack of scenary / architecture. I liked some of the layout of the train but just felt there was too much train. Sorry to be critical!

Personally,I like the train, but the lackk of archy drops it down. Great landscape, though.

ONE:
I like one very much i gave me and pretty good crismas felling, ask you guys said, the candels was preety cool, so was the "yulegoat", i was not so sure what that was, so i did look at wikipedia:

The Yule Goat (Danish: Julebuk, Norwegian: Julebukk, Swedish: Julbock, Finnish: "Olkipukki" or "Joulupukki") is one of the oldest Scandinavian and Northern European Yule and Christmas symbols. Its origins might go as far back as to pre-Christian days, where goats where connected to the god Thor, who rode the sky in a wagon drawn by a pair of goats.

The function of the Yule Goat has differed throughout the ages. As far as until the 19th century, youths would go from house to house during Christmas time to perform small plays or sing Yule Goat songs, with one of the in the group dressed up as the Yule Goat. In Finland, the Yule Goat was originally said to be an ugly creature that frightened children, and demanded gifts at Christmas. During the 19th century its role shifted towards becoming the giver of Christmas gifts, in Finland as well as the rest of Scandinavia, with one of the men in the family dressing up as the Yule Goat. This tradition would have the goat replaced with the jultomte (Santa Claus) at the end of the century, and the tradition of the man-sized goat disappeared.

TWO:
I didnet like tow as much as one, becuse, well i dinent give me so much crismas felling.

The first park was really great, just beautiful. There were very nice ideas in it and such an atmosphere, wow.
I like it a lot.

The second park isn't as good as the first, there are just too much trees and too less architecture, but anyway, the train and the landscaping were good.

Park # 2:

This one gave me a splendid wintery feeling: made me wanting to hop away for a ski-vacation instantly, and riding that nice train to the top of the hills in that fine landscape.

But if I do take a ski-vacation, I normally do that in January/February (less crowded )

So "the holidays" - in winter around Christmas- I do associate much more with a warm and intimate Christmas-feeling, and that feeling I could not find in this one.........maybe a tiny house here and there with a tiny Christmas-decoration and a smoking chimney could have done the job?

Anyway  really nicely landscaped park, lovely train, great winter-atmospere, but not enough "christmas-feeling" for me personally.

Emergo :D

Oh, and Bernts: thanks for the extensive explanation of the Yule Goat! Very informative.

ONE:
A very nice little park, I really had no complaints.

TWO:
I liked the train colors and the atmosphere the train gave off. However, I would have liked to see just a bit more than trees as fillers... ;)

Great entries so far!

EDIT: Well I'd like to enter, but I don't really have the time, which is why I said I couldn't. I wish I had the time though. Sorry Becky. :(

Awesome! I'm so glad this contest is still going strong in year 3, it is definitely something entertaining to look forward to for the next 3+ weeks. AND im glad I snuck an entry in at the last minute, makes it all the more exciting! :D

Park # 1 a very pleasant surprise, that one could be in the running for the win till the end of this 3+ week contest.
Park # 2 was pleasant, but too many trees for a mini park.
