Just a quick note here (by the way, thanks Emergo )....
My parks are ALWAYS peep-friendly...I refuse to build a park that isn't.
I'm only responding here because non peep-friendly parks are probably my BIGGEST pet-peeve....something that has always annoyed me. It's like Disney announcing that they've just completed the grandest, most amazing, state-of-the-art, mind blowing park in the history of theme parks......and helicopter tours will run every half hour so you can fly over and LOOK at it....because it's not actually ever going to be open to the public.
Yeah.....all those amzing new rides? Can't ride 'em.
All the beautiful scenery?.....hop in the copter and take a look from above....that's as close as you're gonna get.
IMO, non peep-friendly 'parks' aren't parks.....they're merely works of art, good or bad (and, there are some AMAZING 'works of art' out there...don't get me wrong) but, the definition of a 'park' is....
"An area of land, usually in a largely natural state, for the enjoyment of the public, having facilities for rest and recreation, often owned, set apart and managed by a city, state or nation"...."any area set aside for public recreation".
I'm sure some would argue that the 'public' can enjoy non peep-friendly 'parks' by downloading and looking at them....but, that would be missing the point. The 'public' in this case IS the peeps. Part of the attraction (again, IMO and probably also the opinion of those who created the games) of designing and building a park is being able to watch the little creeps running around.....puking.....screaming and shouting...complaining.....commenting.....jumping for joy.....after you've spent countless hours at your keyboard creating this little mini-world for them to enjoy.
Well, there's my bi-annual "LET THE PEEPS RIDE!" rant.
Ok, maybe it wasn't such a 'quick note' after all but, it's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Sorry, Kong,

if I did not notice that your park was peep-friendly also (had limited time and probably was distracted by the fact that the entry-point for the peeps was underground, instead of into a nice above-ground area....

)
However there is no `just-and-only-` definition of an RCT-park I think.......tastes differ and one is not necessarily `better` than another.....
When I first joined this site, and soon after that other ones, I really was amazed and very disappointed that a lot of parks were admired while no peeps could get into them and/or no facilities were there for them....all missing the core and fun of RCT imo.....Just a loooong time later I saw that even very good RCT-parks can be built with a
view from the guests in mind, while they are not peep-friendly in RCT. And I learned to appreciate those also. (although, like I said, a peep-friendly park always gets a plus in my book, and I myself up till now never chose to build a park that is not-peep-friendly....just too much fun to see those weird little guests reacting on what you make......

)
Still, the nice thing is that RCT can offer a great hobby to various people with various interests, and like Becky said ``they are all parks``, and that is sooooo true......
Same goes to
Wolfman´s comments I think.You sound a bit sour if you say:
These guys spend a lot of time making buildings. Nothing less than awsome.
Yes, a Road Rally, as far as I got it after winning a few, is centered a lot on getting the right atmosphere for the given spot on the world, so buildings, and time to create that, seem fairly essential in this contest......that seems a given fact and nothing wrong with that - just the rules- while Becky does also have a very good eye for the rides and if some parks will be more or less simular in architecture or whatever-feel-to-the-spot-on-earth-quality-, the rides absolutely will prevail......but probably not the other way around .....that´s what you agree to on entering this contest......no need to complain or feel sour about afterwards......
So, Coaster-ratings or not, Kumba made a lovely Egyptian Road Rally.
And, G-forces or not, Kong made a lovely Egyptian Road Rally also.
And, blocky buildings or not, you, Wolfman made a lovely Egyptian Road Rally also.
Personally I hate it, if I cannot see the ratings of a coaster, or if they are painful to the peeps, or if buildings are too blocky, but that does not take away the fact that (nobody and no park is perfect...) you all made a great RR entry, and within the rules and feel of this contest Kumba made the best of this round imo also.....
Finally, Lucas92 said wise words:
^Meh, it's a game...Those contests are there all about fun. There's no need of attacking each other...
Hope, but doubt it ..., that I can still do a RR this year to compete with you all in the finals....LoL!
And thanks for all your great entries, I enjoyed them a lot,
Emergo
