Yeah, some of my friends rode the one at St. Louis a couple days before this happened. They wouldn't ride it again even if it was still open.

I don't want to say that Six Flags is cursed, but this is really freak accident.

It may as well have been the mechanics who regulary inspect it. Or just the overall design of the ride.

But, I still like Six Flags, and I'm going to great adventure tommorow.

I'm gonna try that new superman ultimate flight thing. Looks cool.

Well people are saying they are closing down the same kind of ride
its not true. I went to Six Flags New England and they have three of
the launch free falls and they where all open! But when people where
on it they had there feet straight out it was funny. No line ethier. Thats
the longest line when i go. But not the last time. I went about a week from today

^^Scream is made my S&S not Intamin. So it's a different maker. No need to shut it down.

*Edit, also, are they tearing down Superman? because it's not listed on their site:

OMG That is horrible :puke: Severed feet! Do they know if it was a design flaw, or was there too much weight being put on the cord?

ahhh, this sucked.... I went on dr. doom at universal and (well, I didn't know untill I went on a second time) that they say something bad about the ride, or something's not working, and I was scared so bad when I was on...

At sixflags in illinois they have something similar called the drop of death.

I got stuck at the top once. I think i'd still ride the ride, just because one person got hurt doesnt mean you will.

I mean, I feel sorry for her and all, but the odds of that happening twice are like 1 in a million.
