Did you know that in the original story of Cinderella, one of the step-sisters cuts off her big toe to fit into the glass slipper? The prince doesn't notice until a bird follows the trail of blood and shows the prince. He takes her back to her mother, and the other step-sister cuts off her heel to fit into the shoe. The prince also doesn't notice this until the little bird tells him.
