The monorail cycle was themed well but you had to hack it in such a way that it would never actually work. However, it was the only ride that peeps could actually get to since it was the only one with a path to it and a queue line. As someone who really prefers parks to be functional, that bothers me.
There was no food, drinks, information booths with umbrellas for the rainy English days, or restrooms. You had plenty of archy to put these in.
England by Lucas92: When the park opens you get a large building that has the monorail cycles hidden inside it. I know the requirement is to have a monorail cycle in the park (which you do) but I think the intent is to have one visible as a feature of the park. Like RCFanB&M you made your mouse coaster like a standard wooden coaster instead of a traditional mouse. Strangely your wooden is more compact than your mouse! I really liked the woodie layout though nobody can ride it because there is no queue line.
Outside of the big building (which you can't really call a castle so I'm not sure what to call it) architecture was minimalist. Landscaping was ok. What's up with the ice??
This one had a coffee shop and a restroom and a food stall I can't remember. Hooray! But if it rained you'd be stuck without an umbrella because you can't buy one in the park. I know that seems like a minor detail but it bothers me that parkmaking has gone to the point where everything seems to be more important than making the park actually function if it were opened.
Winklethorpe: Yay! A park that actually functions like a park! The mini beachside amusement park was very well done. The John Church woodie had a nice layout and the mouse was really a mouse. There were plenty of other rides in the park as well and they all had a queue line.
Architecture was minimalist with a lack of detail in some areas. Outside of the small area of 1/4 tile landblocking there was no landscaping in the park. The beach was a beach. I would have used a different land type for the deep water to make it a shade darker.
The pier looks nice. It looks like the tower was rushed due to the large amounts of brick. Or is that based off a real tower? Even so, it could have used more detail in the brick areas.
Congrats to all!

I tried, but I feel good about what I did and know how to make my next one better.
All the winners parks look very good and spacy, yet filled out.
Thanks to Becky for organizing these contests!

Thanks for this comment Ekimel. About the ice: I wanted to give an alpine feeling here but I guess it wasn't that much England... Also, there was an invisible queue line that was leading to the woody coaster... I think I forgot to add an umbrella kiosk...

Anyway, I know what to improve, in the final.

From the screens the parks are looking nice and I cannot wait to download and view them, only......
I am in France these weeks (no vacation but a sad business) without a pc (just a limited time to use internet at faraway "neighbours") so downloading and really commenting will have to wait a bit still.
Anyway, congrats again, hope to see you all in the finals (if I will be home before that),
and yes RCFanB&M,

Hum, Emergo, I don't think RCFanB&M takes your comment as a comment... What's the point of this huh?
