Anyway, a Runner-up and a winner, it's the same thing for me. :D

 Well in this contest, it almost is, because they both have won invitations to the RR finals already....but I hope that doesn't stop them from competing in future road rallies yet this year! :D

By the way, I'll be announcing the next RR in mid February.....

When I finished the park I noticed how blocky the marble buildings were, and it was too late to change them. Oh well I'm happy with it anyway. See you guys next RR!

And the cheat that you made, coastercrzy, with the handymen that always mow the grass when there is no grass  , how did you make that cheat, coastercrzy?

i didn't it just happened. Kind of weird, huh? I raised the land as rock while the handyman was mowing, and the mower stayed out.

Hey that's a pretty cool trick. Maybe you should mention it in the RCT tricks and tips thread.

Ultra and CoasterCrzy, I really enjoyed exploring the details of your parks. Great job.

Atlas Rivers Oasis
Yes, that swinging bridge was awesome; a very nice touch to get into the oasis high above the cliffs.

I loved the coaster flying in and out of the cliff faces and dropping down toward the bottom of the ravine. I love building coaster this way, too. I was a bit disappointed in the coaster stats, but I guess this comp isn't about that anyway.

The reel tree-top peep mover was really cool, too; could have been longer though (and peep-friendly :( ).

My favorite thing most about this park (besides the bridge) is the terrain/landscape; I see strategy written all over it in terms of a great scenario to beat.

Place des Martyrs
Excellent archy; I really liked the buildings on the right near the reel. The reel was done very nice, too, with good stats. I would have liked to have seen the track come out a little more from the wind-sculpted Saharan rocks.

Yes, the enterprise and surrounding building was really nice.

And for that Zombie handiman, I loved watching him scurry across the rocks.

I would have had a difficult time picking a winner here, too. :phew:

Congrats Ultra and Coastercrazy!

Ultra, you are really dominating the contests around here... maybe I should try to provide some competition someday... :)

Well, Well... Ultra did some really fine Road Rallies, and may be also a monthly contest (?), but there are "still" VP's, and there was a very popular Happy Holidays, etc, etc........ So, though ULtra asolutely is a fine and great builder, no reason to overdo it and say "he is dominating the contests around here" :D we still cannot compare that to, say Sixfrags e.g., who won two (2!) solo VP's in a row, or Wagibear who won 2 -solo- VP's within 12 months.
Not to nibble anything off from this win again in this smaller contests. But... eh....let's be realistic...( ;) invitation to Ultra to go for a VP , or to you, Jazz ;) )

To Ultra and Coastercrzy: a very great "congratulations" to both of you.

Both parks seem very nice and interesting from the screenshots.
Have downloaded both, and will give further comment after I find time to explore them.

:D

^ Now you're just trying to find fault with everything I say... I meant Ultra has been winning a lot of the Monthly Competitions. For example, he had that 3 or 4 winning streak last year, and he's won a few before then, and then he won this. This is all I'm saying, Emergo. Once again you try to find me insulting others and not mention others as usual. That wasn't the intent in my post at all; in fact, I was giving Ultra a huge compliment. You also deleted the friendly part of my quote. :(

Anyways, congrats to both you two, and good luck in the finals.
